- Let's go on a tour of my $19/night budget hotel in the center of Can Tho City, Vietnam.
The exact location is:
Phuong Thuy Hotel
118/14 Trần Phú, Cái Khế, Ninh Kiều, Cần Thơ•090 669 33 77
The hotel was in the city center, and was decently close to the famous floating market as well as other main tourist attractions in the city and in this Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.
I actually looked at two rooms, which you will see in the video. The smaller room without the window would have been about $13, but I sprung for the extra $6 to get a room with a window and a balcony. I'm a sucker for nice views.
The room had four walls and a roof. A bed, a functional bathroom, a TV, desk, electricity, an elevator, and an air conditioner. It certainly wasn't luxurious accommodation, but what do you expect for $19 per night?
At that budget price, it was suitable for a cheap trip to Can Tho. If you're traveling on a budget, this would be a decent place to rest your head at night. If you're backpacking through Viet Nam and tired of staying in hostels, this hotel would be a good place of refuge as well.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I asked the staff how old the hotel was and they told it was only one year old, so the facility itself is fairly new.
There was also an adjoining spa that I show in the video where you could get a shampoo and massage if you wanted to.
Feel free to leave any comments you have as I'm always happy to hear from you all. Hope you like the video. Thanks for watching!

when I come to Can Tho, I usually walk along Ben Ninh Kieu at night. It likes a walk street and I like that river view
Oh cool that sounds peaceful
Great job Tyler well done thanks.
cheers thanks for watching!
The room look clean 👍😃and really good price too’ and the people at hotel are very nice’
yeah definitely...solid value for the price and friendly people
Hey guys;
This was a good video, because, one, I remember when you that cap, from the large market.
Second, this showed a neat, hotel. The hotel, reminds me of the small hotel in Paris, France Hotel Palma, 46 Rue Brunel, Paris. The Lasasuier, ( elevator ) was small. This is really great, I'm really enjoy it.
Yes, right choice, the Balcony. The other room, had no windows. Claustrophobic.
Ok, Thanks for sharing.
All the best Shaun of NYC
Cheers yea I think it was a better choice to go with the upgrade
Love Can Tho. Your friends family watch your videos hey?

@@BigTimeBentley I believe Stephen may have been referring to the mysterious and elusive '2nd room' hehe.

Say hi to my mother in law for @ Nguyen thi minh khai 😂love from Singapore.
lol Hello Robin's Mother in Law
😎👍
Cheers bro
room without window is kinda weird
Yea it’s a bit creepy
Why TWO rooms? Is the Vietnamese law due to your having no marriage certificate? Or you are not her boyfriend?
Not sure why this hotel reminded me of Saddam’s palace…
Lol 🤷♂️ 😂
Why she hide her pretty face much disappoint !
We had just been on a long car ride and she likes to wear a mask in cars so I think she just kept it on and didn't notice it. But yeah she's very pretty and I love seeing her pretty face too.
Why is she wearing a mask? Nobody else are wearing a mask, weird? Is she sick?
Thanks for the view
Just to remind you bro when you take ur girl to the hotel price is not issue. My last trip in Vietnam I rent $200USD per night. Stop being too cheap bro.
Sick flex bro
