- Abraham was Saved from Idolatry
About 2000 B.C., God called Abraham away from all the idolatry of Babylon. Abram lived in the Ur of the Chaldees. Babylon was also known as the realm of the Chaldeans. Abram was an idolator. He worshipped the images of the gods of his land. God saved him from that idol worship. Listen to Joshua:
Joshua 24:2-3 (NKJV) And Joshua Said To All The People, “Thus Says The Lord God Of Israel: ‘Your Fathers, Including Terah, The Father Of Abraham And The Father Of Nahor, Dwelt On The Other Side Of The River In Old Times; And They Served Other Gods. 3 Then I Took Your Father Abraham From The Other Side Of The River, Led Him Throughout All The Land Of Canaan, And Multiplied His Descendants And Gave Him Isaac.
When God saved Abram from idols, God led him into the Promised Land and gave him the nation of Israel as his descendant. But a thousand years later, in the ninth century B. C., Israel had returned to the same idol worship Abraham had been saved from, under the influence of wicked Jezebel (see 1 Kings 16:30-33). At this time, the cult was worshiped under the name Baal.
By the time of the prophet Jeremiah, the idolatrous worship of Babylon’s religion, Abraham was saved from, permeated the nation of Israel. Please turn with me to Jeremiah 44.
Jeremiah 44: The Queen of Heaven’s
Idolatrous Religion
The words “Queen of Heaven” are found in five verses in the Bible (Jeremiah 7:18; 44:17-19, 25).
In Jeremiah, we are introduced to this whole idolatrous form of worship.
Do you know where the Queen of Heaven came from? It came right out of Egyptian idolatry, Isis and Osiris. It has nothing to do with the New Testament at all. And if you have ever heard that Roman Catholics say the Queen of Heaven is Mary and wondered where that came from-look at these words in Ezekiel 8:12-16.
The prophet Ezekiel is taken by God into the temple, the house of God, and he sees that there are idols there, and God is very unhappy. And to see what is offending God so greatly, he’s shown this scene:
There it is, the idolatry of Babel exported to Israel: the worship of the virgin goddess in Jeremiah 44 and the worship of her son as they wept the 40 days awaiting his resurrection in Ezekiel 8.
Semiramis, Lent
& Romanism
Let me give you some interesting details from a book entitled, “The Two Babylons” by Alexander Hislop. The worship of Semiramis throughout history has often had these elements:
• Semiramis was called the Queen of Heaven;
• Semiramis was worshipped by the offering of a wafer or cake;
• Semiramis began the practice of 40 days of weeping over Tammuz before the feast of celebrating his resurrection.
• These mystery cults around Semiramis also had purgatory, which they taught, believed, and adhered to.
The worship of Mary as the Queen of Heaven and the 40 days of Lent for her Son has no basis in Scripture but instead developed from the pagan celebration of Semiramis’s mourning for forty days over the death of Tammuz before his alleged resurrection-another of Satan’s mythical counterfeits.
Most of those who call themselves Christians today follow a way of worship that would have offended the apostles and early saints. What do I mean?
The statues of Mary, calling her the Queen of Heaven, the images of Christ and saints, and all of them being revered with candles and incense burning before them are idolatrous.

I agree with what he’s saying. There is one more pagan problem in the Church today. Celebrating the most important day in Christianity by invoking the name of a pagan goddess Easter. Even the KJV Bible replaced the word Passover with this pagan goddess name. Colored eggs, chocolate bunnies all this is also paganism. But most Christians today have no problem doing these pagan practices.
agree, many Christians have no idea what Passover / Pesach means. Do not forget Christmas, please, never in the Bible - tree, decorate it, - oh ya, yes, but as pagan holyday. This all was added later to separate from First Believers - only Jews.
Christmas is pagan. Halloween is pagan. Solar calendars. They worship on sunday and keep not the sabbath. They worship Mary as the mother of God. Mardi gras... a disgusting pagan orgy. Praying to saints? What?

I know exactly how Jeremih feels.....its not a fun life when people mostly don't listen to anything you say....I know people who listen so little that I could be dying in the streets right next to them and I would be alone....I've actually been there and it's literally a living nightmare.

Love his knowledge and teachings…except for OSAS. He said that when you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, you are saved…forever. He added that last word (forever). With all of his historical knowledge of church history, does he not know that the “eternal security” doctrine was not taught by any church father…until Calvin? Why are there so many warnings in scripture to the church if we can’t lose salvation? Did God make a mistake? No, it’s men who are in error…not God’s Word.
Salvation is not a loan.
God doesn't take it back.
It's permanent, for all our future & past sins. Future sin after salvation is still unforgiven.
@@ReetahinNOLA You're using your "human wisdom" to justify your position. However, what you are saying is absolutely not biblical. In its simplest form, a covenant is an agreement between two parties...and either party can break that agreement. God has promised that He will NEVER break it, but He warns us not to break it either. If we do, the covenant is no longer in effect. So, it's not God that takes salvation away from us, it's us that gives it back to Him.
You didn’t have anything to do…with your salvation… and you can’t keep yourself saved..either! John 6:44…John 3:8. IF…Again I say…IF…you are truly saved and born from above…born again…you had nothing to do with it!! God chose you…Eph 1:4…and God promises to keep you….Phil. 1:6! The problem today is…people are being told..to pray this little prayer…accept Jesus…then told..”You’re saved brother”…”never doubt it!” When their no more saved…than the man in the moon! Their lives never change…and they go right on…living in sin…but told to never doubt their salvation! True believers…are secure in Christ…as the God who purchased their salvation.. at the price of His own blood…also quickened there dead souls…. and made them alive unto God and Jesus Christ…and promised to keep them saved…Our God is not a liar…He keeps His promises! “The gifts and the callings of God… are without repentance!” Rom. 11:29!
By the way…the covenant of salvation is not between 2 people…I’ll keep my end of the bargain…if you keep yours! The Apostle Paul says…”Having begun in the Spirit…how do you hope…to be perfected… by the flesh?” Gal. 3:3. And “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law…but by “the faith” of Jesus Christ…even we have believed in Jesus Christ…that we might be justified by “the faith” of Christ…and not by the works of the law…for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified!” Gal 2:16! Even the faith to believe…is God given faith…and not (our faith) or any kind of faith we can muster up or produce…as even the faith to believe is a gift from God as Eph 2:8-9 tells us! This is not “human reason” this is the truth! The covenant of grace is not an agreement between God and man…as if it was…it would no longer be grace…as Gods grace is undeserved favor…there was nothing we could do to gain access to it…as it is a gift…and there’s nothing we can do to lose it…because God is not in the habit of taking His gifts back! He says so! “The gifts and the calling of God are without repentance!” Rom. 11:29! If salvation was an agreement between God and man…it would mean that God saw something in man that was good and powerful enough to not only gain salvation but also keep himself saved! But Paul argues against that concept when he says…”There is none that understandeth…..there is none that seek after God…they are all gone astray…there is none good…no not one!” Rom. 3:10-12….The Bible declares that man is helpless…unable to save himself…or keep himself saved! “For when we were yet without strength….( powerless…hopeless ) in due time Christ died for the ungodly…But God commended His love toward us..in that.while we were yet sinners..Christ died for us!…Much more then…being “NOW JUSTIFIED” by His blood…we shall be saved from wrath through….( our keeping our end of the bargain )…no…saved through Him! Oh…what a wonderful glorious God we serve…who not only sovereignly saves us…but promises to keep us saved through the power of the Holy Spirit! “My sheep hear my voice..and I know them…and they follow me! And I give unto them eternal life…and they shall never perish…neither shall any man pluck them out of my Fathers hand! My Father which gave them me…is greater than all…and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand!! John 10:27-29

I like your sermon. I just had one thing that I find pertinent. I've heard this story told before and there is a bit more to it. Considering the "queen of heaven" is a sun god, and most believers acknowledge SUNday as the Sabbath. Do you see the connection there? In reality, Saturday is the Sabbath. It is the true last day of the week according to the calendar. I never realized this myself until I watched the TH-cam movie named From Babylon to America that was created by the channel named school for prophets. By worshipping on Sunday it is going in accordance with that false religion of the sun god/goddess when the 7th day of the week is actually on Saturday. What are your thoughts on this?

You didn’t explain the “Doctrine of the Nicolaitanes”….which to my understanding is..the separation of the clergy from the laity! The gradual elevation of the clergy over the laity…which grew by leaps and bounds…till it rested in one person.. the Pope of Rome…which Jesus hated because..He..Jesus.. is the head of the church.. not a sinful man! Even Protestant churches…practice this hated doctrine..by lifting up Pastors… almost to the point of worship! So this is a prevalent problem…throughout Christendom!
This is a good message. But we have blended paganism into Christianity and the Christian church as well. And God will not stand for it. The Christmas tree and Easter egg hunts are two to name just a couple. A simple Google search will tell you how much paganism is behind each one yet we have adopted them as Christian holy-days... Yes that is what a holiday is a holy day. Shame on the Christian Church. People will say God knows my heart, but we're not to add to his word or take anything away and Christmas and Easter add to. We are commanded to do the feasts for all generations

She was a Virgin. A vessel of God .blessed to have been chosen, NOT chosen because she was blessed.
You are called just as the rest of us to love your neighbors. If you know ANYONE who doesn't worship God alone . If you know a Roman Catholic or someone with the Islam faith, they are pagan worshippers and will not see the kingdom of God.
This is church history. The first chapters of revelation - letters from jesus to his church- are this.
