I don't get why people want to rush to the archon quest as soon as possible. The feeling of experiencing a new area and slowly unlocking it's secrets is supposed to be part of the fun. If people actually gave the world quest an honest chance, I feel like they would actually enjoy it.
Honestly I rush everything in this game because im a completionist. I like seeing an empty quest log and iI like seeing everything at 100%. I don't care about the lore that much and play the game because i like running around and collecting everything i see until I've "finished" the game. I guess it's just different priorities.

Yep basically you meeting Dain is literally the last part of Chasm Quest. The world quest is part of Archon quest too since it explains a lot. Tbh the others ones too like Xamaran, Uncle He, Fatui quest, etc. It's understandable if u rush it but I'd rather have a knowledge of what's going on go deep into lore right? It is a story-telling game with a LOT of dialogues and yet you're you just ignored all of it kinda shitty on the ideas of the team who made it and to those who actually like the whole concept. Since it is literally the purpose of the game much better going with that than without knowing anything and just there cuz pull,primos,5* that u want. I do want it too but with all as in the whole thing in the game. Much better knowing all the things so u can talk to others who knows it and expand your ideas than nothing. The story in this game is simple but meaningful so you're missing out a bruh if ur not focusing on it, literally a lot of amazing stuffs that u didn't know F to u. Unlike in Moba, I literally started late in going with lore since Im just there to rank-win-lose-skins.

I actually loved the conjoined quests into the Chasm. The more story, the better! 🥰
fr. i don't know why some people get so annoyed/bored with the quests. It's how the game works and it's supposed to be fun. it shouldn't feel like a chore to fight monsters, read storylines, and do puzzles, but some people, like Jake in this video, act like it is. I guess it's mostly players who have been playing for a while who just get bored of the repetition. hopefully jake has fun with the rest of the update tho.
Yes I agree, genshin impact as a game revolves around a story that we actually learn as we explore teyvat. I think this is why many players easily experience burn out cuz they just speed through the quests in like one sitting to get to combat that barely lasts 5 minutes.
Late reply but same feeling. People complain about lack of content, then when we get actual content they complain that there's too much or that its boring (which sometimes it canbe but the chasm imo wasn't)

I don't know if this is a hot take or not but I actually don't mind how long it took to get to the Archon quest. The chasm is such a wonderful addition to the game and I don't know if I would've realized that if I wasn't forced to explore it

Why does Ayato in English sounded so perplexed whenever you open a chest 😂😭 For Chinese he just sounded curious/interested at most
I think it's not bad that you need to complete a part of the main world quest of the chasm before starting archon quest. With some other archon quests the situation is different: you reexplore the world after you had done it without a quest, but now with Dain, or they just not connected to the story of the region straightly: they are kinda like separated from another things in the open world. This archon quest is included in our process of exploring the chasm, just maybe in not the best way. And it's cool: it helps you to dive into the story and lore and to feel the atmosphere. Also in my opinion, everything feels much more interesting and exiting when you visit and explore the new areas for the first time.

As of today I have 95% exploration in the chasm and the light stone thingy is level 10. I love The Chasm. Maybe it’s because of the light stone, if they add that to Enkanomiya as well, perhaps then I would give Enkanomiya a chance.

Nope I did the world quest first as well. Figured i will unlock all the waypoints while doing the quest, and then finish the archon quest in one go
