- Yu-Gi-Oh Masterduel Has A HUGE Problem or should I say YUGE problem. Thats right Joey wheeler is back in master duel in a big way with all new Flame Swordsman support and this deck is wild. With the power of the Ultimate flame swordsman and infernobles combined the meta might not be able to keep up.

I knew AS SOON as the Flame Swordsman archetype is added in Master Duel, this guy would make a video and love the deck. This is DOTO'S Deck and IT'S SO GOOD. He could beat SeeReax's Ra Deck no problem. We need to see a 3 Idiots Master Duel rematch.

Listen man, this is a hard deck. It's also REALLY cool. So don't beat yourself up over the misplays. Infernoble is my favorite deck in MD and I've been M1 with it for the last 6 seasons. It's not something you can jump into and understand all the lines of instantly. I'm hyped you picked them up though!

Might I suggest the equip card Phoenix Gearblade? 2 reasons for this, it can give warrior and fire monsters 2 attacks during the battle phase, and if it's banished or sent to grave for a monster effect it adds itself to hand.

@DotoDoya It's a matter of opinion, really. Not everyone is a fan of Joey Wheeler or the themed cards he plays. I personally didn't feel any connection to Joey he was very lucky duelist with some potential. But other than that he was overshadowed by more interesting characters like Marik,Yami,Seto Kiaba and other plot relative characters. I get why ppl like him though he closest to being the average Joey without ties to ancient Egypt. So he's more relatable. But ya Flame Swordsman being "cool" is all in the Eye of the beholder. Some will think so others will not. Neither is right or wrong.
That last duel was probably the greatest duel i ever seen from Doto GREAT STUFF BRO!
this is my favorite deck in the game, the cards are just some of the coolest arts out there, and there are so many different lines you can use when you learn the deck. that starting hand in the 2nd game can get you a full setup turn 1 btw since we have access to isolde and promethean princess. when you get the lines going with those 2, all you need is flame swordsman and a discard, and you can get close to 10 disruptions off that if they don't have hand traps lmao.
just one example of any starter with access to fighting flame swordsman, if you want one:
he gets access to the continuous spell, you use the continuous spell to discard a monster for the og flame swordsman, then link it and the fighting flame swordsman in to isolde, then isolde drops equips like phoenix blade, angelica's ring, living fossil, +1 to summon ogier, fighting flame swordsman discards salamandra flying flame dragon, which gets you salamandra with chain. then ogier discards either a tuner like ricciardetto if you need, or turpin if not. link isolde and ogier to promethean, use promethean to revive ricciardetto who will revive ogier, then those make your princess, salamandra targets to equip to her from grave, she'll get you your field spell, bring out roland, and dump something to the grave, then you get emperor charles out and use him to put promethean in the grave, and you can keep going to get double emperor charles and more. he even equips angelica's ring at the end of your turn, and that can negate things like super poly that you normally can't respond to. there are lines to play around nib as well, but this is just an example of what you can do off a 1.5 card combo of fighting flame swordsman with a discard, since you thought you couldn't do much to start that 2nd duel. it's nuts.

I have been waiting for a Doto video on the new Flame Swordsman support in Master Duel, LETS GOOOOO!

The play is simple.
1st - activate Chalice, grab OGIER
2nd - put down the continuous spell. **this prevents your opponent from negating Ogier’s effect when you summon it**
3rd - Summon OGIER. Send Fighting Flame Swordsman (FFS) to the GY.
4th - Trigger FFS’s GY Effect to Send Salamandra flaming dragon (SFD) to the GY.
5th - Trigger SFD’s GY effect to pull the equip spell fusion card for salamandra.
Then you can special summon Flaming swordsman with the continuous spell using Ogier.
Then use the equip card attached to Flaming Swordsman to summon Ultimate Flaming Swordsman (UFS).
Attach OGIER and Salamandra dragon from the GY to your OP fusion monster and boom…
Set Imperm and End your turn. Simple.

Labrynth player should've added a Traptrix Atrax to their deck. Her effect(s) contain a passive continuous effect that prevents the activation and effects of normal trap cards on her controller's side of the field being negated. So Ash Blossom wouldn't work on big welcome Labrynth.

If ONLY the Red Dragon Archfiend player had a Dark highlander in their extra deck. Pull off a synchro combo to build a board, end on Highlander and turn off synchro summoning for both players. Could also use Crimson Blader as a disruption, if that monster is successful in battle phase, the opponent CANNOT SUMMON a level 5 or higher monster in their next turn. Lot of decks have combos disabled the moment that is triggered.
I knew Doto was gonna rock this flame swordsman support, it’s so fun to just summon a huge dude and bash someone on the noggin

Watching Doto be so pumped and killing it in Gold 3 is killing me, that’s my streamer right there. The flame swordsman stuff is really fun and I’m glad it brought Doto back to yugioh. Now he just has to stick with it enough to actually learn a bit so he makes less mistakes 😂

Doto hear me out. Try the flame swordsman package with Igknights and I promise you won’t regret it. It may not be as equip heavy as Infernoble, but there are still multiple equip friendly cards like Sub-knight + squeaknight, Therion Bull and Phoenix Gearfried that can do some crazy plays.
Infernobles is such a cool deck. Glad to see they fit with Flame Swordsman

Id say the problem with this deck is its lack of protection. So, board breaking strategies can break it very easily. Still, it's better than most anime themed decks currently. It can generate big bodies for an OTK. The problem is that it's prone to disruption, so it can be stopped pretty easily. That being said, it's a good thing Red Eyes has a somewhat playable deck. Since Red Eyes itself is just not a really cohesive strategy, It cannot decide what it wants to be.
Doto lives. Doto went sick with it in these duels. Yes more Yu-Gi-Oh and soul-link and pilgrim please. And more all luck deck 🙈

Hey doto, I love you are doing videos on modern yugioh too, I haven't played in years but always watch your GOAT or draft videos since that's when I knew the cards. Next time you post a modern yugioh video would you please have an intro where you explain the combos and effects and shit? I try to explain them as good as possible throughout the video! The truth is I am also a boomer and don’t really understand the optimal lines or my opponents lines most time LMAOOO. I will try harder to learn in the future!
