I think the interface of a1111/Vlad is my main recommendation for now. ComfyUI is more for people that know they want a node based system. It's more time consuming and less forgiving. There's also much more content and guides for a1111 on TH-cam. The end results will be similar! 😊🌟

comfy is best for compositing and tweaking, automatic1111 is best for simplicity. If you're familiar with node based UI similar to Blender or any top 3D software you'll be like it.
agreed 1000%. I HATE node based apps and its not for me. Theres completely nothing wrong with Auto1111 because its simple and EASY to use and when you see the results already accomplished with automatic1111 and online versions like playgroundAI,prompt hunt AI , leonardo etc etc the images are incredible and yet the interface remains the same. Imagine above changing Photoshop or PremierePro to node based, stupid. NO, I think it is not more intuitive but the fantastic thing for EVERYONE is we can use what we want. So at least that's a good thing. But agreed on the explaining..you do that well and everyone appreciates the effort you put in all your videos..so thanks. 😉
@@schmutly The idea of having something node based isn't to just replicate it as nodes, it's to give the user more control. For example in ComfyUI you can combine multiple prompts and models into a single image output, something you can't do with A1111. If node based systems gave you the exact same functionality of normal UI systems there would be no point in them. Some people just don't need that extra control or features of node based UI and would rather opt for a more simpler staight forward UI which is why non node based UIs will always be popular.

Hello! when I press Install Missing Custom Nodes (either from local db or not) empty list comes up, nothing to install. do you have any idea what could be the reason? Also I had to copy manager as a separate folder in custom_nodes. coping contents of the manger directly to custom_nodes did not work.

Also my mom got into it and she wants me to install SD on her pc so I’m wondering witch platform is better to start with…
I think the interface of a1111/Vlad is my main recommendation for now. ComfyUI is more for people that know they want a node based system. It's more time consuming and less forgiving. There's also much more content and guides for a1111 on TH-cam. The end results will be similar! 😊🌟
Im thinking about switching from automatic1111 to ComfyUI mostly because I feel like from the videos ive seen it produces better animations in animatediff but im also learning more and getting a lot better using Defourm.. any thoughts on if I should switch or not?
Did you switch?
Thank you! Starting on this
I can't drag and drop to recover workflow from a previous image I generated (which I really need right now). I'm also struggling to use it cause the damn thing goes for max zoom in or max zoom out with a single move of my scrollwheel
Excellent Tut.
lol, you had my subscription at the chicken joke xD
Welcome aboard! 😆😁
Hi Sebastian,
I'm getting this error when I try to run comfyUI;
C:\Windows\System32>.\python_embeded\python.exe -s ComfyUI\main.py --cpu --windows-standalone-build
The system cannot find the path specified.
Where am I going wrong?
I get the same error :/ any luck?
Great video, thank you.
This looks like something I should be using, but I just don't see anything new here. I can do all this on the basic stable diffusion ui including loading settings from pictures.
If you're happy with a1111, keep using a1111!
Please can you do a video explaining what models are and how they work, what they do?
Note that the Node Manager has updated, and the instalation is now done in other way. All is perfectly explained in the webpage tho.
thank you,can you make more step by step tutorial, for using, controlnet, lora, etc?
big fan dude
Thank you!
do you recommend installing comfy ui in a hard drive or sd drive? or simply on the computer is fine.
this man going cinematic on us
Next stop, Hollywood 🌟
it says path not found when i run nvidia C:\Windows\System32>.\python_embeded\python.exe -s ComfyUI\main.py --windows-standalone-build

How did you get passed this
When I unzip 'comfyuiManger.zip' into the 'custom_nodes' folder, the first time I run ComfyUI is okay. However, after closing ComfyUI and running it again, an error occurs.

Thank you! does it matter what version of SD i got installed? and if I want to download SDXL, should I delete the previous version?
My pet chickens were not amused.
Tough crowd.
😂
Painful jokes, great video. I'll have to give Comfy a shot sometime.
Thank you!
yo what about AMD gpu owners? i have a 7900 XTX, it says no nvidia driver installed, is there a version for AMD users?
After running the comfyui manager installation .bat and restarting comfyui, there is no Manager Button showing up. Anyone knows how to fix this?
I liked this video, becaaaaause
I'm just happy you liked it
Hello there
I used the same image in Comfy UI and WebUI and wanted to get the same style image with the primitive that I downloaded from Civitai, but the result is that I get the same image in WebUI, but not in Comfy UI, I directly dragged the image into Comfy UI to get the same generation data with WebUI, could you help me to figure this out, thanks!
Thank you sir!
comfy is best for compositing and tweaking, automatic1111 is best for simplicity. If you're familiar with node based UI similar to Blender or any top 3D software you'll be like it.
Glad you like it! Got any favourite workflow tips or extensions for Comfy?
agreed 1000%.
@@justanothernobody7142 thanks for the time to explain that, appreciate it.
I keep getting this error "CheckpointLoaderSimple
ERROR: Could not detect model type" any suggestions ?
I keep getting an error saying that ERROR: Could not detect model type of: C:\Users\Username\Desktop\ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\models\checkpoints\flux1-dev.safetensors
Dragging image that was made by a ComfyUI workflow doesnt work for me. It doesnt do anything, yet I want to retrace the variables on how it was made
when pulling in a picture for a workflow is it any photo or a specific file that contains a workflow within it? There are several photos I really would like to see what type of prompt is used but I just have a jpg of a picture downloaded. thanks for the great tutorial!!!
It needs to be an image generated with Comfy (or Swarm), so the metadata is saved.
Installed / Reinstalled ComfyUI Manager.. Can download / install in Model Manager. However, when I'm attempting Custom Nodes Manager/ Install Missing.. I keep getting Bad Request. Spent a few days attempting to solve.
Any solves for this? Many thanks in advance.
Regarding dropping a image into comfy and it gets wired up, he failed to mention that it only works with images already done in comfy, not just any image
Works on images created by automatic1111 SD too.
@@GrafitTomi do they have to be png or can they be jpgs?
@@Avalon19511 I tried only the pngs that was in the output folder
@@GrafitTomi jpgs don't work
For me just nothing happens, I drag image into comfy and nothing appears ;/
Hi. I added the path to my auto1111 webui folder on the same windows drive and it didn't import anything. Any tips?
My comfy ui doesn't work, it keeps saying "reconnecting" as an error in the corner and I have no idea how to fix it
Thanks for the content! Could you help me? I've installed ComfyUI, some models and loaded a worflow. When I try to run Queue Prompt, all I got is (unknown error)?
Informative!
Hi :) Do you have any video on how to speed the process of creating the image?
As the image downloaded from discord, should it be generated by comfyUI or any other AI generator? Thanks
Thanks for this video ! it was very informative. Do you happen to know where in comfyUI I can set the "clip skip" ?
Nevermind found it : CLIPSetLastLayer
Hello! when I press Install Missing Custom Nodes (either from local db or not) empty list comes up, nothing to install. do you have any idea what could be the reason? Also I had to copy manager as a separate folder in custom_nodes. coping contents of the manger directly to custom_nodes did not work.
Please avoid a fatal but elementary mistake I made - Check your zip file of choice has not been disabled on download to protect your computer. It's a very simple check in a box using File Properties to ensure that your entire ComfyUI does actually run when installed.
bro i couldnt find out how to open my compfy knowing i dont have the stable diffusion should i download it first so they integrate together?
