My stepdaughter went to the teaching college in Ambleside, her & a friend had an attempt on their lives. It was the biggest case since the lady in the lake. Loving your videos, still catching up. Woody is the perfect mascot.

licorice roots/sticks, we chewed them daily - Esholt in Yorkshire was the home of licorice, and rhubarb. Always buy my fruit and veg from a green groceries. The apples don't usually come out of a 2 year frozen storage.
Used to buy licorice sticks for a penny many years ago (1960s)

Hi fantastic vlogs as Always. The stone you refer to is called slate. When you saw the bridge house, in the shop window. Made me smile As I have a Lilliput Lane Model House, of it. Given to me by my Aunty before she died. She collected loads of Lilliput Lane Houses. Hope you enjoy your stay in the Lake District. I can recommend Keswick, for a visit. As I lived there for 6 years. I went to the School in Keswick, as a boarder. From 1987 until 1993. Happy memories. Thank you. I did visit again a few years back for my 40th. Woody is lovely. He walks around Happy as Larry. My cat can be like that, when you would think he's a kitten again. He's also 15. Yes William Wordsworth was a famous poet. His poem about Daffodils, is mine and my mums favourite. I used to live in the Poet Robert Southeys house. It was the girls boarding house of the School in Keswick for Year 11, 12 and 13. It's now a Bed and Breakfast. Take care of yourselves xx

Not a lot of people know this but at the age of 16 I took a job at Lillyput Lane, my job was to paint around 300 models of the Bridge houses a week 🙃

Loved this tour around Ambleside .didn’t like what was in the garden in though .we used to buy liquorice sticks when I was a kid from the chemist they housed to be stringy 🎉

This has just come up to watch, I enjoyed it very much, the Lakes in the past has been one of our regular holiday destinations before moving to North Wales. I thought you did Ambleside justice. Last time we stopped in Romney Grange , just behind your park up , bar snacks in the Waterhead right on the Lake. Just discovered your blogs, enjoying them very much for being down to earth, your Chester one was also very good, Skegness was a. Surprise

well, that was a reet nice bimble round Ambleside( he says in his Bolton accent), Lisa and Mark and yayyyyy Mark spotted a chinese but booo it looks mingin' and closed Its been a long time since I went and you made me fancy a bimble t't Ambleside. I'll just make sure I have loads of painkillers to get me back up the hills. Almost got enough funds to do a three day bimble so might mosey up there early next week. Being a photographer I think I deffo will find a few bits to photograph. tell you what, what with all the disembodied limbs, hairy cow ears and the like, its almost as if they knew you were filming that and put the exorsist music on just for you 🤣 Anyhoo, another great fun video and though Mark didnt get his Chinese, he at least found there was one. Yes, The waterfalls are a long way from town. You did not make it halfway. I drive through Ambleside often, when i am working, traffic is quiet in winter, very busy in summer.

I used to eat the liquorice stick when I was young still sell them in old fashioned sweet shop top main street in Haworth I can relate to dog poohing we took ours to Skipton he decided to do one smack iinfront off a couple having a coffee outside a cafe up main street my son walked off in disgust leaving hubby gary 😆 love amble side great video x

Keswick lake district Cumbria floods a lot, the lake has been flooded after the resent snow and rain.
Tom cruise was filming in the lake district Cumbria for several months last year

We have been caravanning now motorhoming for about 40 years now and love it still. I was interested in seeing that you tow a car behind your van. I'm thinking about doing this . I looked at all your other vids but couldn't see if you had ever said about the pros and cons of doing this but perhaps I'm wrong. Anyway if you ever feel like doing a report on your experiences towing a car I reckon it would be very popular. Hi both, welcome to our channel ! We occasionally tow a Smart Fortwo but haven’t done so recently. Google towAframe and caratow for some ideas. Note that it isn’t legal to tow like this in Europe. We do have e scooters that we use in Europe, unfortunately these are not legal in uk. Keep watching and any more questions let us know. Regards Mark
Mark, if you get a new scooter I could use your old one, haha a 69yr old on a scooter ( brilliant ). As for the naked girl in the Merc, I’d have extended our stay…..hahaha, I’m enjoying the binge watching the videos especially the one 15 minutes from us “ Holmfirth “ I’m in Stalybridge.
We have a Vivaro I converted now but very soon I’ll be looking at a used 4berth even though there’s only me and the wife.

If your still there check out langdales valley area really nice and there's a camp site
You should try the Cumbria coast for a more relaxed time, plenty of wild camps and sites from Maryport upto Port Carlisle and some cracking sunsets.

🤣🤣🤣 love the part in the garden centre. You should look into raw dog food. It's way way better than any other food for dogs. For example Giving your dog rabbit ears helps to prevent worms as the fur passing through their system collects the worms and eggs so in theory never need chemicals anymore to worm your dog...
Giving your dog raw egg + the shell crushed up is full of calcium.. so many benefits of feeding raw food.. pets fed raw ford are less likely to go to the vets.. we feed ours it and he loves is. Even chickens 🐔 feet 🤣 🫣

Great area and were I was brought up in my first years , but some areas in the lake district needs to add more Motor home stops and join the trend and boost economy ..and wise for economic growth .
