- Swastik Doors originated in the year 2008 at Pune (Maharashtra, India) as a distinguished name in the domain in manufacturing of Laminated Door, Veneer Door, Fireproof Door and Flush Door.
Obviously no one in these comments has been to India (or any other developing country for that matter). That looked like a pretty clean factory that employs a lot of workers and makes a quality product for that region of the world. And actually decent safety seeing how 99% of that is common sense and rest just being patient. Nice video, coming from someone who understands what y’all go through.
true....most people like myself comment on the lack of safety equipment...for what those poor people get paid, you would think the company could supply some hearing protection or masks.
Bear Lemke ,you are absolutely right.i live in a so called developed country where the safety is absolutely stupidity.It takes around an hour to do the paperwork for a half an hour job.Allthough I am a qualified safety officer I hate working like an idiot where paperwork and safety officers tells you how to do your job.It is up to the individual to decide how he wants to perform a job.Safety has become a joke and a costly one too.I would rather live and work in those developing countries to say the least.

50 cents a hour, at the end of the week that adds up, for family, food,rent, cellphone, ect . 1billion people jobs are hard to come by..
@indian win so that's ok for us all to exploit them for better prices. Destabilise regions just to create slave labour. I mean there are always pros and cons but when it comes to growing countries they are betrayd to grow into cheap colonies and made to take big loans that will keep em that way for long or in case of trying to take their freedom back will allow use of weapons to keep em in line.

All the workers have to count one to 10 with their fingers when leaving the factory, just to ensure they are taking them back. If less, they have to go to the circular saw without guards and pick it from there.

I love videos like this I spend more time looking for safety violations then watching the video. It’s ways the same no safety glasses. Ear plugs most of the time no shoes. And done outside in the dirt. With no hygienic anything smh 🤦🏻♂️

Putting on all those safety accessories each day eats up alot of work/production time These children and grown men & woman look like they're having a good time while working, so why do you want to mess up all of that over some stupid safety items ? Pffft! And BTW .. if the items you listed are your biggest safety concerns .. I think it's safe to assume that you've never operated industrial woodworking equipment.

While a lumber core door is one of the strongest, in the US, the core parts would be finger jointed and glued in both edge and side directions. The frame would have been edge formed and glued, not just stapled together before any veneers were installed.

in USA, most homes built for middle class and lower are made of skin of plastic and particle board, with hollow core.
only custom built fancy multi-million dollar homes would have solid wood doors.

This door is popular with low cost housing developers, where every rupee counts. I would however opt for the engineered paper honeycomb doors embedded in a light gauge steel frame.

I've installed Swastik doors on everything from showers to gas storage facilities and all I can say is that these are impervious to all leaks and damage due to bumps and scratches!
Its local brand if u have money ho for branded 10 times expensive door like TATA

I thought if they had stuck with the small bits of wood as the faceand glued all the pieces in well and gave that a good finish it would look better.

the frame is structure is very. staples are not sufficient for frame making, they did not used any glue to fix the filler wood pieces.

Looks better than the junk doors from Home Depot of Lowe's. At least you get mostly a wood door, not some foam filled core door. Their logo will not go well here. At 1:55 think you cold do that with a junk circular saw free hand?

Structural integrity at the hinge side is a must to prevent deformations and sagging with ageing. For this the inner core must be finger joined with industrial adhesive to the door frame and the side and cross beams needs to be joined with suitable tennon joints. The skin just adds to the door integrity - does not replaces it. The technology and process used for making this door is a failure and a shame in the name of industry. But if they start to do things right then they shall have to choose the right machines and process which shall make them too expensive and kicked out of the market. This is the bane for undisciplined and untrained and ignorant industrial markets of the 3rd world - it's the weakest link in the chain that calls the shots
