I was happy to see Umm al-Bani happy, but I must add that her hair doesn't seem to have been combed for DAYS. Why? Is it expensive to buy an ordinary comb in Iran? AND why can't some women in the village trim her hair, especially above her forehead? Her hair is getting into her eyes all the time.
Also, with regard to your daubing paint carelessly on the walls - you REALLY need proper training. I am sure you would profit from learning from the builders with whom you have worked before.
Finally, why throw bits of tomato around the terrace? Forgive me, but quart apart from it being untidy and a bad example for your little girl, why not feed such parts of tomatoes to the chickens? Throwing anything away that could be fed to your animals is wasteful. BUT I was glad to see at the end that your pigeons ate some some of the tomatoes.

Whether Parvani will be found I don't know. But I do know that what little Al Bani remembers of her biological parents is tied with him/them abandoning her in the river. Kamal is her father now, and Laila is her auntie.
That baby does not ache for the father that abandoned her. She probably doesn't even remember him. 😢
