Great video. I'll admit, I've only been involved in one clutch removal/install and that was on my brother 's pickup! A lot going on there, especially your inspection after it was out.
Probably worn into the flywheel hope there are no heat cracks. I see heat checking mostly on tractors where people have managed to slip the clutch very hard. Once the heat cracks are there the flywheel is done for. Pressure plate when its warped out will chew up the new disk in no time. At least you had no mouse house in the clutch compartment.
😊😊 HI DAN thats not uncommon 2 see 😮😮 most likely none of that been replace be 4 I just seen that the other day on a another tractor that was the same way 😮😮 it 2 needed a new clutch pressure plate throughout bearing and pilot bearing dan that's not uncommon common 2 see them groove like that brake rotors on cars and trucks will do the same thing 😮😮 most people just replace them its faster and it will save U alot of time ⏲️ 😊 other wise / dan most likely it was a long time ago since that tractor 🚜 😮 was took a part in 2 half's U have 2 use a framing hammer 🔨 😊 W a bit more weight 2 it and U have use a peace ✌️ 😊 of pipe W,a wrench 2 get more leverage that's just the way it is 😊😊 OMG 12 19 2O24
I’m glad you got the tractor split without too many problems. Enjoyable video Dan. Thanks
Another interesting and informative video Dan, thanks for sharing. Peter 🇬🇧🚜
Have a Merry Christmas.
That saw horse will work, until it doesn't!!!😂

have a good xmas to u and family
First tractor I ever drove 670 back in 1975
670s have a bushing.
Even a new one will likely slip easily into the hub. I install them with special loctite and don't seem to have any problems.

Use what you have and if you know what you used before I'm sure the saw horse will work just fine.
