I have watched the WNBA for years. My daughter played four years of college basketball. We are a basketball family. The way that Caitlyn was treated and targeted was inexcusable! The intentionally missed fouls, the racist comments and the silence from the WMBA say a lot about the league and their leaders. I hope they all go back to flying commercial, and the commissioner is fired. They need all new board members too. The leadership has failed! The referees should be fired too. A total clean slate. They have all embarrassed themselves. I will never buy another Nike product, attend another game, or watch the WMBA.

I am SO DAMNED GLAD CAITLIN IS LEAVING THE WNBA...they DO NOT DESERVE HER to be making $millions on from her talent! Sluts and Mutts beat the hell out of her, refs turned blind eyes, she needed a goon and no one provided her one...although I did see Boston walk into the sceen a few times, calmly looking like "YOU BETTER QUIT MESSIN' WITH HER!!" i had never been into basketball before Caitlin came along and showed me what basketball by women COULD LOOK LIKE! She's completely fascinating to watch, is all about her team, has empathy, is fearless at the same time. I'm proud of her for stepping out of that mess and leaving the WNBA to figure out what its REAL PROBLEMS are! I hope Caitlin Clark has a great time playing with a European team for a change...I have no doubts about how they will treat her with respect for her game. Yes she's gone and said she won't be playing in the next WNBA season but playing in Europe next year. Also Nike also said her first show would come out 2026-2027 so she left them and signed w Adidas. May the stripes come back and style and the swoosh drown at sea

@@gibbsellz161 Thanks for that explanation. I wish Clark nothing but the best! She deserves it! She's a superstar and is all class unlike the ghetto trash in the league! Clark is way too good and too classy to waste her talents in the WNBA!

I was not aware of anything about the WNBA, including their financial troubles. Then I saw Caitlin's tremendous skill and became a fan. But then I saw her opponents playing dirty against Caitlin and just trying to injure her and the refs not even calling a foul or, amazingly, the league not fining or suspending the dirty players - What a horrible message to their young fans!!!. At that time, I published a comment that her opponents, the refs and the league were all just shooting themselves down with their dirty play and the refs and league totally ignoring those disgusting blind side hits, as Caitlin was lifting them ALL up to greater heights and their actions would likely backfire. Indeed, the Caitlin haters did themselves in.

Women can be really vicious to each other. When Larry Byrd was playing, he was the one of, if not THE, greatest player in the game. He was also a notorious trash talker, but his trash talk was never vicious or racist. Well, maybe it was in a reverse way. He was known to complain to the opposite bench that they were "disrespecting" him if they put a white guy guarding him. "You can't put a white boy on me. That's disrespecting me". The black guys he played with and against were in awe of him, and tell great stories. They all agree that he backed up his trash talk, and they laugh about it. To this day, they love telling those stories. th-cam.com/users/shortstJ1VxQZnpWA

I knew those WNBA fools would mess up Caitlin Clark’s career by not protecting her from the jealousy of black players who couldn’t contend with Caitlin’s stardom, superior talent, and skills, my prediction is the WNBA will fold!😢 Caitlin would’ve made everyone richer, she would’ve done for the WNBA what Magic and Bird did for the NBA, those damn fools!🤬😢🤨🤮

I'd never watched an entire game of the WNBA until Caitlin Clark played. I thought they were going to injure her bad enough to ruin her career. No one protected her. The refs didn't, her coach didn't. Her teammates didn't protect her. They were probably afraid to help? If she was my daughter I'd told her to get out after that player poked her in the eye with acrylic nails. The refs didn't call it.

The NBA coddled Michael Jordan, making some furious, making most watch. It wasn't like the example wasn't there. Imagine if he was hardfouled without calls, trying to hurt him physically in response to his level of talent. The ref's being complicit is very telling in the direction the WNBA took.

I guess I am just vindictive. I would sue the league for (at the minimum) a hostile work environment or a total failure to protect it's players from assault on the court. Sometimes s**t happens, but when it always happens to one player that is targeting violence. To me that spells lawsuit.
