Tim, this video is ridiculously brilliant!! :) Man, you are making me want to go back to my Field Notes again :) Your journalling boxes approach has really inspired me; honestly, I'm going to give this a go. Thank you!
Well thanks! I’m not sure it’s THAT good though…. 😂
Another great video Tim! I love your Sweden travel doodles, it’s really cool to see. How do you like the SOS paper?
Amazing - it’s almost like a cloth or parchment or something. It absorbs and dries really quickly too.
Hi Tim! Wanna really be broke? Get into fountain pens along with your notebooks! I’ve quit FN’s because of needing better paper quality for inks, but going strong on pens and paper. Scott-your WV entry in the “Traveling Notebook”
I like the style of FNs - the designs and culture has drawn me in. I’m not sure about fountain pens but I was gonna do a Lamy ball point, fountain and pencil video by way of trying and making some content.
@@Tim2pointoh before i was in to fountain pens, I used to take Lamy and Kaweco ballpoints and mod Pentel Energel LRN7 refills and put in them. Still have a few laying around for when a fountain pen won’t do. I love FN’s too, but the paper is not good for fountain pens. I still use the same 3.5”x5.5” notebook size in a Bellroy pocket notebook holder, just with better paper. Lots of options out there.
@@Skinbom who/what notebooks do you recommend for fountain pen ink?
@@Tim2pointoh I use Rhodia for larger notepads (A5/A4), I use Lochby for 3.5”x5.5”, also use Goulet Pen notebooks in the same 3.5x5.5 with Tomoe River paper. Depending on the size, there a many good ones from Clairfontaine too. I like a lot of the A5 size Maruman Mnemosyne notebooks as well.

What sort of notebook content are you interested in?
Reviews and flipthroughs of Field Notes editions/ other notebooks!
@@ajse_o A lot of my notebook content will be pointless to share. It's kind of why I'm trying the comic book layout in my current FN.
But I see people like this kind of stuff.
