Hi Sarah, I loved this vlog! Your cooking is very enjoyable and calming to watch. You definitely have a lot of natural talent. I am originally Iranian, and I love that you enjoy Persian food. It definitely needs more recognition in the world, and I'm so glad you're sharing it with your followers. I've recently started doing a lot of home cooking for my family, and there's nothing more satisfying than making healthy and nutritious meals for loved ones. One of my favourite Persian dishes of all time is "Kashke Bademjan" (the eggplant dip). My mom's family are Turkish speakers from Iran, and we make this dish a little differently. We roast or deep fry the eggplants, then crush them and let them cook for a few hours with whey and diced garlic. We also make a Persian stew called "Ghiemeh" (beef and split peas stew) on the side, and we pour it on the "Kashke Bademjan" when we serve it, along with roasted walnuts, mint oil, fried garlic, and onions. It is definitely a lot of work, but it is worth it because it tastes soooo good.

Hmmmm, a starter could be hallumi cheese, ahhh barbecued 😘 chefs kiss. For a main scampi and mushy peas and chips you have to have them at weatherspoons. ( sorry gluten intolerance we’re throwing you out the window) it’s worth it 😉 for desert um, a big rich chocolate cake!!!! I’ve been to Norway twice, and you’re right. The food isn’t amazing, besides smoked salmon, seared fish dishes, bread, and strawberries and cream over waffles. My friends say, it was a poor country, and it’s cold, so there wasn’t much, and no sliced. I love making lentils with or without meat, and I’ll use a different collection of spice. Indian or East African. Unless, you’re using dried fish, or something oily like mackerel, your fish should only smell like ocean water. 😱

@@sarahlysander I soak them in water and a bit of baking soda for a bit. Just before I cook them. Rinse, and into a pressure cooker. I don’t always do this, but the pressure cooker may help. Aw I love this!! I use ‘Wusthof Gourmet’ knives! They are great, but my advise is always have a knife sharpener, no matter which ones you own!

I’ve been to Norway twice, and you’re right. The food isn’t amazing, besides smoked salmon, seared fish dishes, bread, and strawberries and cream over waffles. My friends say, it was a poor country, and it’s cold, so there wasn’t much, and no sliced. I love making lentils with or without meat, and I’ll use a different collection of spice. Indian or East African.
Unless, you’re using dried fish, or something oily like mackerel, your fish should only smell like ocean water. 😱

@@sarahlysander I soak them in water and a bit of baking soda for a bit. Just before I cook them. Rinse, and into a pressure cooker. I don’t always do this, but the pressure cooker may help.
