I was hoping this would never happen to my Hiboy MAX Pro Electric Scooter, but it did.

    I like the solid tire idea, the tires on the vsett mini are absolutely the best scooter tires I’ve experienced

    Oh Man, wish I'd caught this earlier. Very sorry about that tire and the loss of money making opportunities. Best of luck getting things back in order sir. BTW even for a sad news video clip you did great.

      Thank you, Terry. I should be able to fix it. I have another Hiboy rider coming to help me soon. You take care too, buddy.

    Please make a video on repairing the tire. I rememeber how much trouble u went thru to fix the s2 max tire. Thats the only hesitstion i have on getting hiboy s2 max over the ninebot max

      The S2 Max and Max Pro both come with wheels that split now, so it should be much easier to fix than my first generation S2 Max.. I'll see what I can do about a repair video.

    Tire slime, tire slime, tire slime! I cannot suggest enough the use of tire slime as it helps prevent such issues like this! I use tire slime in all of my scooters. I even have two tires that had inner tubes with punctures (one a nail, the other a pinch flat) that I put tire slime in which plugged the holes and allowed me to air up the tires and they have been going strong since (2 months on one, almost 4 months on the other). ALWAYS USE TIRE SLIME!

    • @sincloth7022
      @sincloth7022  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When I replaced the tube, I added tire slime. It popped again 2 weeks later. Not even tire slime will prevent or fix flats on the Hiboy MAX Pro.

  • @chandlerwatts6922
    @chandlerwatts6922 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    It's a pinch flat. I've had two now. Also, HiBoy is no help in terms of videos or instructions on how to fix. I used the S2 Max video which helps somewhat, but still is a little awkward. Alpha Scooter has the puncture-resistant tires that are worth getting.

    What’s up bro. Cool videos. I live in Vegas too. I just purchased a Max Pro. Arrives Oct 10th. I’m upgrading from my S2…
    I’ve reviewed both Pros & Cons. Hopefully I receive a Flawless scooter, (non-electrical issues) so all I’d have to worry about is flats…
    Did you change tire yourself? Should/Can I put fixAflat?
    Over 4k miles, I’m sure you’re familiar with repairs and knowledge. If anything should happen to my scooter/tire, can I reach out to you? Hire for tire repair…

    Yes that is true. But the highboy pro is a lot easier to change the tires cuz it's split Rims.

    Bummer, did you install a solid tire or tube again?

    • @sincloth7022
      @sincloth7022  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I replaced the tube and it popped again. I haven't found a solid tire that would work, and tubeless isn't an option due to the split rim design.

    • @sincloth7022
      @sincloth7022  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll be adding Tire Slime to the new inner tube. Same effect. You can't run a tubeless tire on this type of wheel because they split for easier tire/tube changes.

    Tread looks worn & you said you drove 120 miles on it, so ur actually lucky it hasnt happened more often. That sucks though, at least you will learn how to fix it & if it happens again, maybe you see if its a type of repair you can do on the fly, i am wondering.

    • @sincloth7022
      @sincloth7022  ปีที่แล้ว

      This scooter actually has 1400 miles on it. My Unagi only has 120 miles, and is falling apart. The tread may look worn, but it's actually still good. Unfortunately, it's going to be the kind of repair that requires the removal of the rear wheel in order to fix it.

    The valve area might be the problem.

    • @sincloth7022
      @sincloth7022  ปีที่แล้ว

      You could be right. I haven't had a chance to take it apart yet, but I have been riding it really hard, so it certainly could've come apart around the valve stem.

    • @chrisdudley8366
      @chrisdudley8366 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey buddy sorry to hear about your flat tire that sucks. If you don't have any obvious damage to the tire I will check the valve stem core and see if it backed off on you and sometimes all you have to do is tighten it back up and you're good to go. Let me know how it works out.

    • @sincloth7022
      @sincloth7022  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chrisdudley8366 That's good advice, and I was hoping it was something like that, but the core is tight. These inner tubes often separate at the valve stem under heavy load or use. I have a spare tube, but haven't had a chance to change it yet. I got 1400 miles out of the first one which I think is pretty good considering the way I ride this thing.
