    That move is very good...even if there is a one spot that white checkers can be doubled after the second move...but still white can response.

      Against a ham player, you have a chance to draw or win, against a master player, it is over, against a computer program ,high level one that makes no mistakes, it is OVA. Against a human player on my level, it is OVA. EASILY OVA.

      @Tony Maurice Hello Tony , thanks a lot , it was fun being interviewed for that movie, I did win the Nationals back in 2017 in the Majors Division, I am now playing in the Masters Division hoping to win that lol. I doubt if any human will ever master checkers, we just don't live long enough lol, but we have fun playing.

    • @profoundmoves
      @profoundmoves  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tony Maurice I am from the Bronx, but live in Jersey now, checkers has a rich history , it is believed to have been invented in Egypt, it is more than 5,000 years old. Tinsley was the greatest checkerist ever, he was as close to checker perfection as humanly possible, he only had about 7 losses in 45 years or more of playing, that is insane. Thousands of games , absolutely incredible.

    Yeah but that’s assuming the opponent has never played checkers before and jumps every time he can and isn’t capable of thinking into the future.

    • @profoundmoves
      @profoundmoves  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      really? It isnt assuming anything, this is just a move you make IF, the person you playing makes the move i showcased. DUHHHHH

  • @profoundmoves
    @profoundmoves  13 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    @spencercressey first of all this is a trap ,a trap happens when the wrong move is made,yes the player can move to all the squares u mentioned,im not here to show u every play that can be made,im showing what play to do when the wrong move is made,its that simple ! Do not ask me why would someone go here or there,i cant answer for them,do not tell me about the 15 or so players you played who didnt make that move ,thats nothing compared to the millions who have made it.

    @callmedeathstroke oooooh ouch your insults hurt so bad... i never claimed to know the game, all im saying is everytime i tried this exact move they never once went 8-12. they move 11-15, or 10-15. giving them a double jump and ruining the move. i have attempted it probably 15 times and not once has any opponent ever moved 11-15. and the second time you do it from 11-16, why would anyone opponent go 8-11 when they can do 10-15 getting a double jump. flaud...

    • @profoundmoves
      @profoundmoves  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      this is why I clearly stated its a trap, its too many moves in this game to go through all the what ifs, so I pick one particular what if to go over, is that too hard to understand?

    callmemakeaweakmove eh ; spencer is correct, white's 2nd move is weak. it's a losing move. [i [get] you are 'only' showing a [trick] move to be used on weak players, but you come off like it's all brilliant, you portray that way!

    Bs bro! Cause after 16 to 20 he would have pushed forward and got a double on you.

    • @profoundmoves
      @profoundmoves  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      learn the game

    • @MrRaydioray
      @MrRaydioray 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you learn the game! because at 0:43 when he says they go right here. and moves the red checker to the corner. that is NOT what a good player would have done. if you stop the tape at 0:39 when he moved that white checker to the center. there is where you can clearly see that the red checker can be pushed straight up the center of the board. resulting in a double jump for the red checker!

    • @sophoclesmerlain9051
      @sophoclesmerlain9051 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yikes! My man don't just throw foul language at the person. Retaliate with a respectful comment. Pretty much it. By the way the dude is right he "learn the game" with his initial comment. Anyways i understand the video show a good traps against people who don't know the game tbh (and that's a really good trap to set up), but against a professional or someone who sees the opportunity to get a double jump it's tough and you lose control after that.
