Dr. Bhatt uses moxibustion on this happy little patient to stimulate the flow of Qi during acupuncture.
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine form of heat therapy in which dried moxa (mugwort) are burned to supply a direct injection of heat energy into specific points to aid rebalancing. It is used for pain management, digestive issues, stimulation for the immune system and so much more.
