🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 Damn you are so good!! I aspire to be as confident, knowledgeable, and connected with Tarot in my life as you are. I'm so much more excited about tarot just listening to you and I have been dabbling with tarot for a year now . I just love tarot so much and you made me even more excited about it. Thank you for your take and time on all your videos. 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
I just found your channel and I must say it is exceptional! It is rare you find someone who actually knows what they are talking about. You are definitely the real thing. Thank you for making these videos :)
You are FANTASTIC! I love your communication style! Love how you mind works!!! THANK YOU for being such a phenomenal teacher!!! I feel profound gratitude and respect!!!! Much Aloha and many Blessings!
I have heard before that it is a good idea to make up your mind which of the approaches you plan to take before reading the cards, like while shuffling, and then stick to that. But every time I do that, it become more apparent which of the methods the card pertains to while doing the reading. I suppose I just like to consider which approach the card could be taking while reading them rather than "programming the deck" first. I hadn't heard of the card meaning an extreme version of the upright meaning before. I like that. I'll definitely think of that next reading.
The reasons you state about reversals is precisely why I don't read them. I feel as though it blocks me. Any messages I get with the cards are going to come up regardless. Sometimes I get reversed cards even though I know I typically read upright. That's when I'd take note of it. I really only have 1 deck I know I can reverse because it does well with it (and it's a deck I don't typically use for others, just myself) , but typically, I find that it slows or blocks the message of the cards as a whole. That's just me though. Ive been reading for a while now but I've still learned SO Much from these videos. Thank you so. So much!
I've always been reading with reversals and yes I read it in an incorrect way. Now I'm constantly telling myself when have a reversed card 'think of the shadow meaning don't reverse the card, it's not the opposite, it's the shadow aspect' and it helps me to think differently.
♥♣ Kelly~Ann Thank You for your profoundly intuitive & comprehensive & erudite expoundings beautifully on Reversals! I always intuitively read Reversals. Maybe "some" readers have since the beginning. Reversals seem to have hidden mysteries within them. ♣ This Reversal video is number 69. It is delightful that number 9 is a 6 Reversed. Both numbers are Reversals of each other! Perfect! ♣ You embody wizdom, poise & a delightful "trippy" eccentricity that I love. I am a Mirror of these also. :) ♣♥
This was such a helpful and thorough explanation, thank you. My deck's book provides similar examples of how to read reversals - one explanation that resonated with me was the idea of it being "in pastel", as well as the issues of timing or blocks. In a recent reading on myself I got The Moon reversed in the future position, which i interpreted as meaning I will have less emotional volatility - I won't be rid of emotions and their transitory nature (that's impossible!) but I'll not be so much at the mercy of my emotions. It made sense in the context of the whole reading so I definitely agree with you that all the cards together are important!
I like your warning element approach. I personally use reversals very very rarely. If i do my interpretation would normally be somewhere between the "warning" and the "extreme". I like to read them as the extreme in the sense of an excessive energy rather than just the regular meaning of the card amplified. Kind of like the shadow side of the cards energy or a tendency towards over-fixation on a certain aspect of the situation.
I am so impressed that you realised the 69 - reversed numbers thing. I didn't! Unfortunately, I recently did my long overdue video pruning, so it's gone down to 61 - but this comment of yours will always remind me of the synchronicity! ;)
Ah, reversals. Sometimes a thorn in my side, but I'm determined to work at them since reversals do bring a new perspective to a reading. I recently did a New Year spread and one of the positions ("what wild surprises are in store for the New Year") produced the 9/pentacles reversed. My first thought was a negative one, but I'm trying to see if there's some encouragement or a warning element. This card has a lot of positive energy when upright, so it threw me for a loop. Anyway! Thank you :)
I realize Im late to watching these videos but do you ever use what you see in front of you as additional information with the reading? My question is in reference to the physical impression you get, the energetic feelings from the person you are reading for..Like if you got a reverse King would you use the impression as the link for an explanation of the reverse?
I have question and it is, when beginning to be a tarot reader and loved ones and friends find out it’s something your trying to do and they try to tell you it’s demonic or evil how can I explain how it is not evil unless ur intention is of a lower vibrational place
Hi Kelly-Ann, do you still currently read reversals? Why, or why not? I respect your opinion so much, I know it's an individualistic approach and tarot is highly personal, although I'd really like your insight : )
+Jennifer Jaros I would interpret it as a very important life change has occurred, but they've yet to realize or appreciate it, or to 'reap' the rewards of that change. In my view, a reversal doesn't carry the connotation of an 'opposite', but that the querent is at a point in their life when the card almost has the right meaning but has yet to reach an 'ah ha!' moment when it is meaningful (e.g. they might be in denial, or over-intellectualizing their current predicament). I certainly wouldn't interpret death reversed as - no change, everything stays the same

♥♣ Kelly~Ann... ALL of your wonderful videos are absolutely Magnificent and bestow much Wizdom! ♣ Please try not to Prune... LOL! ♣ {{{Hugzzz}}} :-) ♣♥
Hmm, could be that you're going to be challenged and may have to reassess your whole perspective on something. You may realise that what you were placing importance on isn't nearly as big a priority as something which you've been placing into the background. Changes like this are always nurturing in the long-term even if they initially involve setbacks or worries. :)
You are the best tarot reader I have ever encountered on this channel! Thank goodness for you! Thank God!
