- Britney Spears goes into the Z100 studio for a surprise interview! She talks about Womanizer, the Piece Of Me video and her upcoming 2009 world tour :) She's so sweet!
This was just a few months (less than a year) after the conservatorship was put in place. She was so lucid and still herself at this point. Now she’s an anxious mess, constantly looking to the side when answering questions, rocking side to side, rubbing her hands. She’s right, this conservatorship has done her WAY more harm than good. I’m not saying she didn’t have issues and maybe needed help, but what her family did wasn’t help. It’s abuse.

I love how she admitted she'd done better work than the 'Piece of Me' video, which was fun but I agree, not up to parr with some of her earlier videos. I think people love that humility just as much as they love her dancing, voice, songs, look, etc. I honestly hope she heals and can get some of her old openness and confidence back, as well as the freedom and fire when she dances, even if she chooses to not really do interviews or perform much in future.

and i agree, sadly the reason that she isn't as involved in her career now as she used to be is...it seems like they broke her. her life got out of control and bad people got into her life, while tons of people just watched and judged. it seems like now, she's a lot more scared and uncomfortable after going through what she went through.

@Lonsterlmfu i'm not some huge stan for her, i'm a casual fan. she was a good vocalist when she came out. she does play piano, she has written a good bit of her music, etc. That's an educated opinion. Her latest album she hasn't had involvement with but albums like In The Zone, she co-wrote a LOT of the album. Everytime she wrote on her own on the piano.

It's so sad what the media have done to Britney. If you look back at her other interviews she was more lively and more out there but when you look at this shes rubbing her arm nervously and a bit less talkative.

I think Britney has some talent and she is loveable, but I feel like the industry uses her and she knows it and that's where her lack of enthusiasm comes from. since first making the comments above I have found songs of hers that she has written and seen her on the piano, but I have also been reading a lot about her life and career, I still stand by the fact that she isn't some major power house oozing with talent, at all, but I have gained a lot more respect for her as I mainly feel bad for her, she's definitely a puppet for the industry and I don't like the way they treat her. They broke her. I think that's where the lack of energy comes from.

@HighNoteFanatic I try not too, and stop calling me ignorant, it's not ignorant! She has NEVER been a good vocalist, and I am so sorry to let you in on this but it's common knowledge she can't play an instrument,, she doesn't write compose or produce, which means teams of people do all that for her, which is why I say puppet, so my opinion is not ignorant. It's and educated opinion. You are the blind one. You can like her but don't say she's some major talent. Because she simply is not!

Both gaga and pink have not only more down to earth relatable personalities but the blow Britney away vocally. and they are both song writers who have written their own hits. Britney might be able to write a song, but all her big hits were written by someone else. This is not an argument the facts speak loud and clear for themselves.
@Foyder Ya she can't sing or write or give a good interview. She doesn't know who she is because she's been manufactured most of her life, and if you don't know who you are there can't be anything unique to yourself that gives of any sort of genuine qualities. She's a fucking joke. At least GaGa and Pink and a few others are shamelessly themselves and they have the rawness in both their personalities and their music.
