Thank you for your recipe! I made this today for hubby since he wasn't feeling well and it turned out great. I didn't use ajino moto and i didn't do the oil tarka and it still turned out really good

Authentic Chinese Egg Drop soup (as its called there) also add oil in soup for taste. They use a table spoon of Sesame Oil but during the process before adding the egg whisk. So its legitimate-I will try this recipe as well.

This soup I tried and tested and was absolutely awesome. So many places I have had this soup as a starter and always enjoyed it but never really thought of making it until this winter had a bad cold and felt like soup and saw this video. Can not believe how simple it is to make. 30-40 mins from start to finish. Thanks faiza! Now I watch her other videos too bcz she is so simple and easy to follow.

Soup looks good but we don’t add oil at all plus black pepper far too much here less is better so old and kids can also eat plus color won’t change

Aoa, this recipe is very good. I just add ginger garlic in Yakhni and dont add oil at the end, but its a delicious recipe. Everytime my kids are unwell, I make this soup and everyone love it. Jazak Allah for the video.

Corn and corn-flour has starch in it, so maybe you should skip the corn-flour at least to reduce effects. Or you can use the corn-flour but skip the corn, and use some healthier vegetables instead.

agar aap zyada quantity mein soup bena rahi hain tu oil ka istemal kar lain, kyoon ke jab aap bechay hoye soup ko freezer mein freeze kar lein gi, aur jab aap dusre din soup use karna chahein gi tu, soup ko garam karna thoda mushkil hota he, aur oil soup ko melt kerne mein helpful sabit hota he, aur agar aap thodi quantity mein soup bena rahi hain tu, oil use kerne ki koi zaroorat nahi, aap ko peta he mostly pakistan mein restaurant mein log oil use kerte hain?

i know, this is pakistani restaurant style soup, the reason they add oil in it, when you reheat the soup straight come out from freezer, its get very thick and when you reheat the soup, oil helps it

Light. Adding oil is no no. Otherwise it’s all good.
I tried this too. It was delicious. Took us to our childhood!! The only thing I did differently was, I didn't add any tarka at the end. Thanks a lot 😊
