The game needs 8 cores with faster clock speed. Upgrade your gpu as well. It needs 4070/6800xt or above to get 60 fps on high settings. But obviously you can get above 80 fps on high settings with frame gen and fsr quality on. But make sure you upgrade your cpu so it won't get bottleneck.

You will also experience bottleneck on some specific area. To reduce the bottleneck you simply need to lower the graphic settings to low-medium. Though you can reduce it by turning on fsr quality with frame gen, but still it ain't much. The developers need to fix the game. It is just unoptimised. It is also stuttery, glitchy and has inconsistent frame rate.
@@iam_veeee Thats true without FSR but with FSR and all settings on max im getting on average 65-85 fps with dips to 45-50 when entering populated zones but going back to 60 once all stalkers load in. I have fixed my problem with input lag in engine.ini with some lines and games runs smooth as butter with no input lag.
Use TSR (ultra quality, just to enable frame gen) + frame gen and put everyting on high + epic textures. Enjoy 80fps most of the time with 65fps in crowds and 88fps max. 1080p of course. 6700xt is the new fine wine.

Brother, how are you with image clarity? I just have exactly the same build and with anti-aliasing turned off, the entire picture is pixelated and it's completely impossible to watch. And if you turn on taa or fsr, it becomes so blurry that it's also impossible to play? Have you encountered this? Maybe it's in the video card driver settings?
Yes because you are playing at medium. You will get consistent frame rate at least for now, but not until you reach zaliyssa area which is the most demanding zone in the game. Your fps will dropped significantly to 30-40 fps and i believe your cpu will getting bottlenecked.

The game is cpu demanding, so that's why any 6 cores cpu can't handle that much, except by lowering the graphic settings. They stated that you need at least 7 5800x to run smoothly without bottleneck at epic settings. So 8 cores above with latest gen & faster clock speed is needed for that.

@iam_veeee when I walk or run the plants will flicker like turning a light on then off. If I don't use upscaling some buildings and the ground will be missing. If I use XeSS it's fine and it gets over 60 fps.

The game needs 8 cores with faster clock speed to run smoothly. If we want to reduce the bottleneck we just need to play at low-medium settings Also the game is unoptimised. Don't get me wrong 6 cores also good for 1440p, but 8 cores is way perfect. So yea 5800x is one way to go. But seriously why 5800x though, i think you should squeeze your budget a bit and get the 5700x3d or 5800x3d instead. The performance between 5600x and 5800x is quite minimal, there's not much except for the fps online and cpu intensive games. As for 6700xt, the card was designated specifically for 1440p gaming. But the reign of the 1440p card is no more since nowadays games went demanding from year to year and the card struggles to keep up. It's not that worthy enough for 1440p nowadays. It's the 7800xt and 4070 super that took the reign of 1440p card now. Though, you still can experience decent performance by optimising setting, turning on fsr and frame gen. Honestly, for me personally if i focus on editing and gaming at 1440p, i would go for 7 5800x3d and rtx 4070 super instead, i choose Nvidia bcs it's 100% designed for productivity unlike Amd. But If i only focus for gaming, then i would go for 7800xt, i can benefit the 16gb vram. You know, frankly 5600x and 6700xt are quite decent for gaming and editing on 1080p. But for 1440p? Aorus version of gigabyte is the premium version of gigabyte brand which means it is always come with better quality, aesthetic design and provide a lot of features. I think if I'm not mistaken it has cmos reset button, dual m.2 slot and argb sync which you can control the rgb fans. But surely it has 4 slots of ram, usb type c, overclock unlocked and a few of usb gen 4 connections. As for 32gb ram, make sure you get the 3200mhz or even better the 3600mhz.
