Hey just wanted to know if you had any intentions on reviews the new xymox reserve max+ pads. I’ve been hearing whispers that xymox has gotten their act together and are actually shipping products now that they moved away from fully custom pads
@@garybattle2488 I contacted them and basically said I heard the same thing about them and did they want to work with me and send me some pads for review and so I could potentially also help suggest that they had gotten better. But they wrote back and said that they had no interest. Trying to get some Vic firth pads but they don't want to seem to write back to me either
@@DCvsDJ hey! its pretty good. overall not as good as xymox id say but still is a good substitute for a trustworthy and honest price. also holds out well since ive had it for a year
The Cicada pad is basically this one with some ball bearings in it. Michael has some videos on it that he's done. I can look into the Ahead pad, although one of the Bluecoats alumni snares had one and wasn't amazed by it.
I didn't appreciate it initially but the more I play on this pad I really like the gum rubber feel over the neoprene pads that I have. Rudimental Drummer would be my favorite on the more complex side of the pad world. I'm the medium complex version of pads I like Offworld
Aye awesome! That suggestion was mine 😁 hopefully you enjoyed it, it really does feel similar to the old real feels.
Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂
Really cool pad and video. We really appreciate what you do for small drumming businesses…👏🏾
Happy to help spread the love. 🙂
The Heavy Hitter series my Vic Firth was redesigned… now with rims!
You should review a few of the top sticks on the market. Would be interesting to get your thoughts
Hey Snareman! Thank you for another awesome review. Could you maybe do a review on the new Evans Attacktile pad??🥁🙏
You should do heavy hitter quad pad
You should review the Vic firth stock and slim pad
Awesome Review.. Sound a bit similar to old Vic pad. Wonder if Beddis endorses?
Thanks.
Hey snare man I was wondering if it’s okay for you to review “the last pad” from beetle percussion ?
Yup. I'm working on trying to get one.

Does it feel like the HQ Tan RealFeel? Does the Mad Pad have the same thickness as the HQ?
I actually haven't had a ReelFeel since the one I bought 30+ years ago so I'm not sure.
It feels like a cross between the tan realfeel and the gray side of the vic firth double sided pad.
Good review. Looking for a new pad!
Thanks!
Will you review the Ahead S-Hoop snare pad?
he said they didn’t wanna send one out. i have one though and its a great alternative to xymox n is good quality
@@punkdogs4126how’s the rebound and feel?

Can you review Vic Firth’s new heavy hitter stock & slim pad with rims
I don't know if Vic Firth cares about me, but I'll contact them and see
Could you do a video on britt Corp pads? they seem interesting and are relatively new.
They look kind of Xymox-esque
Do you hear snare beads?
I cant hear it through the video audio
There aren't any in it
@@SnareManohh ok, earlier in the video you mention them having a snare pad
But the one in the video isnt that one
Can you please try out an Ahead S Hoop Pad and/or a Cicada Pad

Please review Prologix pads.
I'll look into it.
What are the excercises?
You mean that I played? I don't know, I just made them up as I went.
How about your favorite pad or pads for 2024?

Thx for the response and keep up the great reviews!! @@SnareMan
