Hi Chris When you added the Dealership to the rows Excel automatically calculated the % of the Rep contribution in the Per of Row total without having to then go on to use the cool feature you demonstrated in the last column of data. I wonder what it would have calculated had you chosen the dealership option instead?

Is there a way to only get a percentage from a total row from the grand total and have it not show to total 100% listing down the a single column?

Is that possible if you could provide the data file so I can practice? Thank you.

I get this error message and no matter how carefully I follow the instructions to fix the problem, the message comes back at me. The point is I haven't grouped anything to be ungrouped!!
'This pivot table report field. You cannot add a calculated item to a grouped field.
To ungroup this the field, make sure it is in the row or column area, select one of the items of the grouped field, click the Ungroup button in the Group group and the Analyze tab, and then insert the calculated item. After inserted, you can group the items of the field again.'
Clues as to what the issue is as I have no idea.
