Thank you for this video. The Element had damage to the instrument panel and I went to a junk yard and got a nicer one. I’m going to clean it up, paint it, and have a nice looking one for replacement. I appreciate your video, it helped me to figure out how to take it all apart.

I just changed my E light bulbs on my stick shift hazard,dash, window and lock buttons to all pink and blue LED :)
Did you have to hardwire them in at the door and shifter? I can’t find LEDs that are direct replacements
do the same led on the dash board fit in the climate control panel ?
Allegedly my shifter lights and then my climate control lights are all out I thought it was because I was missing one and I put new light bulbs in nothings working I don’t know if there’s a fuse a blue but it’s so frustrating great video by the way
Thank you for liking my video. Is your instrument panel light also out or just those that you mention? Because usually if the fuse is bad , it will also dont mKe qork the instrument lights. But i will need to double check on that.

After removing panels to replace ac control knob lights, replaced everything. Then the shift knob would not work or move. I checked every fuse and checked the brake light switch under the steering wheel. Still nothing. Then I remember seeing a video on how to move my element if the battery was dead. I stuck a screw driver into the little hole/slor beside the shift knob. It released the shift knob. Now it's working, everything. Hopefully this helps someone. Somehow I must have locked it up when I wS taking it apart.
I have that spot to the left of the radio as my Polar Ice gum spot too! 😂
You can just pry the plastic center plastic off from the bottom. Also, to move the shifter you push on the lock that is under the cap on the right of the shifter, don't start the car or turn the key.
Thats right. I removed all since i replaced all the plastic covers. Now my E looks cleaner than before with the newer plastic covers.👍

Find a junk yard or paint/rehab your own after you take it out of the car. Just a suggestion.

I replied my bulbs and they are still not working the lower 3 are working but not the top 3 is there a fuse some where for that
A fuse will make all bulbs won’t work, some people who has this problems my have a cluster problem or the wires, try to move the wires and see if it turns on or also try to remove the bulbs and re install it, something’s make not good connection

finally did you get the lightsworking, in case not jet just take out the bulbs whit the black holder and change the position of the bulb due they have polarity.
