Happy Holidays. I’m so excited. My aunt bought me skates. I was watching this this morning and 3 minutes in I had to answer the door. I am here 9 hours later with my new skates so I’m going to watch this as I cruise through the kitchen making a sandwich 🥪

My first pair of skates are coming TODAY! I already watched your video about how to get them ready to roll and adjust the trucks, wheel tightness, etc. and I'm so ready! I'm planning to cosplay Dinah from Starlight Express so I want to be able to skate for her and live out my 6yo little girl dreams 💙

Hi, new 2 the channel 😊 I used 2 eat, sleep and breathe skating when I was younger. I'm now 48 and got new skates 4 Christmas. I found somewhere 2 skate outside with ok tarmac and a rail incase I needed 2 hold onto something. I got my skates on and stood up, made a move towards the rail and fell straight onto my back. I was scared sh1tless cos my insides seemed 2 rattle in my chest, it was not easy like I remember it👀. I got up though and just went gently up and down the short rail 4 a half hour. It was so scary! I was pleased with myself though that even though I fell really hard I did get back up and continued on👍🏻I had a helmet on but no knee or elbow pads so the next day instead of going out skating again I ordered these. I will get wrist protectors when I get paid again. I really REALLY wanna do this even though I'm scared, I will watch loads of these videos 4 beginners on falling etc because I think it's so necessary 2 b realistic and not think ur gonna b a moxy skater within the first week😬 Btw I luvv my skates, rookie classics '78 in yellow 😍
I have been watching you (not in a creepy way lol) for months. My new skates where supposed to be here on Jan 27 and my package has been delayed again there is no delivery date now, I just want to start so bad

hey, you might not see this, but im a teen who wants to start doing roller derby and i was wondering what kind of skates you use for derby. i know there's certain skates made for derby but i noticed you use moxi skates (i think) a lot in your videos. if you see this and respond, thanks! btw i love your corduroy jacket :)))
Hi! Yes, so there are speed boots that are made for derby- I use the Antik ar2 skates for derby, but there are many many different types of skates for derby. Most of the time they don't have heels
Hi Rebel, first off, love your vids. Secondly, I have a kinda cheap pair of skates and tried to set them up but there isn’t a lot of wiggle room adjustment wise, but I just cannot friggen do bubbles! I’m doing the knee things ect and the legs go apart but they wont come back together, do i need to loosen the trucks more?
i alway's stuck to in the rink but i remember getting my first and only speed skates they were black with light pink neon wheels and pink neon laces.i started skating as a lil kid holding the wall very scared to skating to the benches then worked my way up to skating the rink .i got to where i could skate fast and go backwards which wowed my mom .i never wore protection gear i was lucky never got hurt but a dumb move .the onlypics i got skating isin a collage they hung in the rink.i don't know if all these years laterif still there.the place is pattersons roller rink in spokane,washington
