THE FUEL PUMP WENT OUT IN THE MIATA!!! (FUEL PUMP INSTALL)

My Miata shut off randomly on the way to a car show and had to be towed home. After checking some things, all evidence pointed to a failed fuel pump. I installed a DW100 fuel pump since it is supposed to be a slight improvement over stock. The install went decently smooth. Also, I started recording with a new mic part-way through the video. Let me know what you think!

I got an NB with 130 miles on it. I was thinking of replacing my fuel pump to stay ahead of things. This video was very helpful and I just may give it a go. Good work!

Good video . Just replaced mine with the same pump. I was able to diagnose it quick though, my fuel pressure gauge was able to screw onto my nitrous fuel tap since the Miata doesn't have a fuel rail tap for a gauge. I know the factory pump was good for a 75 horsepower gain, since my afr's stay perfect when running a 75hp shot of nos. I'm going to slap a turbo on it in the future though, because nos costs $75 to fill the bottle, and it doesn't last long at all.

Nice video! Recently my car died on me, now it only cranks and doesn't turn on. I've been suspecting that it's a bad fuel pump since the crank sounds good and spark is good as well. I'm hoping to test the relay later today to see if it is receiving power or not.
