Its easy to make also, just combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of rice vinegar in a pot, bring to boil. Then add 1 cup of sugar or honey, or less if you don't want it super sweet, but you do want to balance the vinegar and sugar. Then add grated fresh ginger, a 1 to 2 tsp or so, and 1 tbs of Huy Fong garlic-chili sauce...which isn't too heavy on garlic so add more garlic if you like. Add about 2 tsp or so ketchup, its mainly for color. Then mix about 2 tsp of corn starch with a little water to make a slurry so it won't clump when you add it to the pot, whisk that in till its thickened to the right consistency. Its really delicious and you can tweak it to taste, spicier add more garlic chili sauce, more garlic or more or less ginger, etc.
Its a small chain grocery store. I think it started in California and they have only like 500 stores. They are like a "natural" whole foods store. Its kind of pricey but they have some good and weird stuff you dont find in regular stores. They have alot of vegan stuff also. I dont go there often because of the price but you find some cool stuff there.
