Equine Assisted Therapy (อาชาบำบัด สัตว์บำบัดคน) - Animals Speak [by Mahidol]

Animals Speak takes the audience to meet and talk to Assistant Professor Vasunun Chumchua, Ph.D., lecturer from Human Development Division, National Institute for Child and Family Development, Mahidol University and Nuttawut Nuchprayoon, veterinarian and equine therapy trainer from Mahidol University. You will learn about Equine Therapy, which is used for assisting children with special needs; namely, children with down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, hyperactivity, or brain injury etc. Equine Therapy helps children with special needs improve their skills such as balance, language use, or restraint. Freya, the kid host, joined with the trainer for the demonstration, and talked to the mother of Nikky, who has been used this kind of therapy. She told us that Nikky has better improvement after being treated with this type of therapy.
