Same here! Seems to me the Prokofiev 6th was on the flip side of that album. But yeah, a very romantic interpretation (as I suppose one would expect from Cliburn).

I played this Sonata for my master’s recital. Amazing work ….extremely difficult.
Learning this Sonata right now, and it is indeed difficult, especially that Fugue finale.
