Singapore has lots of good public car parks, buses that runs on time and relative cheap n good tramsport, HK is still using v cheap mini vans that van go to area as narrow as our Love lane, & on time. Why do you want to wait 10 years for the expensive LRT? AND WHILE work in progress, the jam causes by the road work will kill you us both!😱🙏

Hk has one of the best mass transit in the world. I have tried both in sg and hk. Hk is way more efficient. Please do verify your statement. Mini van is commonly use to those area further away from mass transit or those opt for quicker turnaround.

Bandaraya YG cantik Dan terancang...tak MCM jb...stress tgk banyak bangunan terbengkalai...mempunyai persisir laut YG panjang tapi tak dibangunkan...Ada sekakngkang keta pantai lido Tu pun warga jb tak dapat nak santai santai tepi laut...opss silap bukan laut tapi lebih tepat sungai kot....terbaikla perancangan IRDA

Deseru pantai yng cantek tpi banyak aktiviti di sana tpi jauh sangat dari pusat bandar JB luas tpi berpusat di jalan Ah Fook ada bangunan tinggi juga mcam Astaka dan twin tower tpi x sepadat penang dgn ratusan bangunan tinggi berjajar dari utara Georgetown dafi tanjong bunga hingga ke telok kumbar sdlepas bayan baru dari air itam lembah permai valley of payaterubong to bukit kukus silap2 ingat hong kong sekali pandanv dua kali panda g penang lh.

Mmg betul , Penang kurang LRT . Penang populasi padat sungguh, walaupun warga penduduk Penang island 700k+- , tapi jgn lupa negeri kelantan Kedah sabah dll kerja dan belajar kat pp dengan sewa bilik, Ramai masuk pp untuk melancong dan pada awal pagi ramai masuk island kerja dari Kedah dan Seberang. Tak mcm JB , Ramai Yang keluar ke Singapore kerja . Seimbang masuk keluar flow, island hanya masuk kereta awal pagi dan cuti . Whole island Jem teruk.
Total penang population penang island and seberang prai already to 1.9 million already for the year ogg 2021 sbrang prai ghe city under MBSP larger than penang islannd from north sbrang prai to south sebrang prai all under MBSP administration with many town incuding agriculture land.
Penang population is almost 2 million already

Wow looks like Hong Kong especially those buildings on the hill.
I think with all the housing/ condo coming out, we need a good transit system. Penang should target to grow the city with a good transit system. too many cars on the road now and very little parkings. I wonder if we could get a jump start on the MRT that we are talking about it for years. Penang airport also need to improve, the condition far from international standard, just look at toilet will do. Most toilets are wet and rather dirty ( vs KLIA), arrival cars control area need to improve too.

Am pleased with the private company development of Penang. However our airport just look like canteen or wet market. Previous few renovation were to please the federal minister pocket. U can tell the renovation are just a short term to please the eye.

Sejok cuaca ke sejok mata kalau cuaca jangn pakai baju cuci mata pakai ray ban ha ha yes penan now look so cool with ocean city beach hilly dah cukup segala2 nye.
Sejok duduk dlm mall bulan february dan much cuaca mcm dudok dlm micro wave bila tengah hari tpi awal pagi sejok dan berangin lain sikit cuaca di utara ni.
They should re-create a sandy beach at the esplanade. The sea water is sufficiently clear for a beautiful sandy beach with heritage backdrop. 🤷🏻♂️
I think no net for man made beach at esplanade not suitable the wave current very strong during high tide anyway at gurney or the gurney wharf already in planning to made 400 metre man made beach over there.

So nanti boleh la kurang sikit jem kalau ada LRT. Lgi sesuai belah pulau tu wat bwh tanah ja senang. Ruang tu padat dh. Dulu belah georgetown tu elok dh ada Tram. Tpi tula makin jem. Terpaksa buang. Ni kalau malaun ckp LRT membzir pastu buat laluan bas semua memang nk makan kaki la😅 Jlan sekrg pun semua satu hala dh. So lek2 la nanti jem ni kurang la. Kalau sama teruk juggk nanti memng penang ni dh level klang valley dh padat dia. Sebab yg kerja penang pun mostly ramai duduk SP,kulim,parit buntar😅.

Land reclamation not a solution especially on the island.We have enough land on the mainland .The Batu Ferringhi beaches for some reason have been hit by massive erosion.Natural beaches are the best and mother nature has a delicate balance of creating this.

So desperately needs LRT, MRT or BRT or monorail. Failure to develop this is a failure to govern Penang.

From the video, Penang Island seems too full and crowded population. This is one reason that Penang become less water supply according to the high increase of the population. SCM should not frequently introduce island, Should Introduce Mainland more than island especially Sunway Medical Centre, Batu Kawan and other areas. Penang island shouldn't build high rise building but should have more recreation parks. 🙂
No highrise building where penang people want to stay sleep in the kebun bunga. Land very limited every year population grown bigger and plus outsider want to make penang thier home due to plenty of work for job seekers.

Your statement is contradicted. High population > Land scarcity > High Rise Building > Rising of Economy > Attracted more people and funds into the state > People choose where is the best for them > Increasing of population. TBH, compare Penang to Singapore, or even KL, we are still not so high dense. Look at Singapore, they enjoy sufficient of space even with highest density in the world. Further, what you are enjoying right now in Penang is the result of urbanisation of previous generation, if the current generation refused to keep up with the pace of urbanisation, then you will be the last generation of enjoying what you have right now. Hence, those people who staying in a landed modern house, please understand, your house was one form of disruption to the previous generation as well. We should n't be so selfish by just asking the youngsters to move to mainland or other states to make a living. When some place has economic potential to boost the nation, just do it, if we can performance like Singapore, why shouldn't we?
Waiting until Penang gets their public transport and infrastructure right! Or Penang gets taken over by the Republic of Singapore.
Otherwise it will end up as a second KL, horrible pedestrian infrastructure forcing me to get around by car.

Sebagai 100% penangite, zaman Tun Lim Chong Eu, beliau bawakan jambatan pulau pinang (ramai ingat mahathir, sebenarnya mahathir hanya datang opening ceremony, tak ada sokit sumbangan pun) dan bayan lepas industri zone dimana menjadi punca ekonomi penang. Tapi malangnya sejak kehilangan tun lim chong eu, penang mcm stagnant jer sejak zaman koh tsu koon.
Sejak kerajaan baru ambil alih, mereka lebih cekap mengurus dan menjadikan infra penang lebih tertib, modern bertambah maju dari semasa ke semasa.
