good guide there. one more tip i've got: once you summoned all spectres you want, you can do the summoning from your hideout. if you use desecrate there, it will spawn corpses from a pool of spectres you summoned "recently" (whatever that means i don't know yet)

But I finally tried one and the leveling was so smooth I was in maps before I even realized I left act 3. Atm I'm just messing around with which spectres I like best. But ty you got yourself a new sub and another necro to watch out for on the ladder

This is an amazing guide. Very beginner friendly and step by proper guide, unlike some of the others I've seen. A big plus to how SSF/HC friendly it is. Was looking for a beginner friendly guide to recommend, but many out there are not SSF or beginner friendly.

@@KayGaming Frankly there's not much going on after Act 5, as all the skills are pretty much set. Perhaps do a single video for acts 6-10, showcasing your Heist league start, and explaining what gem swaps you did, what gear/links you aimed for and how you killed the Act bosses that can get a bit tricky.

They said yes and that led me here. When I clicked on the video I immediately recognized the little animated witch, she's the same chibi from a fanart I saw during Harvest league competition and I assume that was done by you as well? Anyway, just wanted to share this fun little discovery with you. Being a content creator myself, it's clear to see that you have put a ton of effort into making quality content. (The little wink by the witch was a very nice touch!) Keep up the good work, I'm sure more and more players are discovering your talent and will continue to learn from you in the future.
@@KayGaming Yeah I mean she is very memorable! And yeah, after looking over their PoB the main problem was they needed a six link and way more life. So off to BA they go to farm a tabula and gonna ID some rares to get over 5k life at least, after that it's just grinding for crafting materials to upgrade according to your guide, so I'm sure they will be alright.

@@KayGaming My main reasonings are because i LOVE the idea of casting meteors (new firestorm) and i feel with the stealth mechanics, summoners dont sound that great. I know you dont NEED to be stealthy, but i wanna roleplay a bit this league and be sneaky :P (meteors and stuff aren't that stealthy but shhh stealthier than having an army) also i might play at least 1 summoner, just not at league start i dont think. Maybe once i get a decent budget, i'll play pure spectres ^^

Im currently leveling a Summoner in Heist League. Because I dont really like Slave Drivers I thought I would try something different. As Spectres Im using 2x Baranite Preacher + 2x Baranite Thaumaturge. They can use the same links and each spectre helps to patch up the others weakness a little bit. Level 82 and I love it :D

Hi Kay, new subscriber here and liking the content. Can i ask why you veer towards Spectres rather than Golems, is it just personal preference or is there a playstyle difference etc? thanks a lot!
Golems needs the unique jewels to become good, so they are not so good for league starter. Spectre will work from the beginning and also scale well. Also there are many different spectres. Change spectre is like playing different character. Melee spectre or ranged spectre. aoe spell. ball lightning. etc!
Slave drivers are the best all around spectres now? Do redepmtion sentries compete anymore after the nerfs? Anyway, thank you very much for the concise guide
For league starting Redemption Sentry is actually really bad. They attack every 1.5s. So you have a long dps downtime. If you can put lots of currency then they become good. Spell spectres like Slave Driver have 3-5 cast per second. Also they use aoe spell. so you don't need to swap gems for mapping and bossing.

Yes! That was my idea. Because some people level up quickly or slowly, so I think list of notable is easier to use.

Yes! I make a starter/ssf build and also a mid-league/end-league build. You should be able to push quite far with just this build too :)

I made plan for Occultist Summoner in 3.8? But GGG nerfed the ES passives, so it was not good anymore. :(

Golems needs the unique jewels to become good, so they are not so good for league starter. Spectre will work from the beginning and also scale well.
Also there are many different spectres. Change spectre is like playing different character. Melee spectre or ranged spectre. aoe spell. ball lightning. etc!

For league starting Redemption Sentry is actually really bad. They attack every 1.5s. So you have a long dps downtime. If you can put lots of currency then they become good.
Spell spectres like Slave Driver have 3-5 cast per second. Also they use aoe spell. so you don't need to swap gems for mapping and bossing.
