Clara also played this thing with Vladimir Spivakov and the video is here on TH-cam. Here, she plays first fiddle; on the Spivakov video she plays second fiddle. Same sound from her lovely fingers and bow and violin. (She is HOT)
Please note that Repin is playing second fiddle but gives the entrance at the beginning - interesting that is.

이 곡 정말 좋아하해서 주미강님이 연주한거 찾아보는데 파트너들이 다들 가관이네요... 블라디미르? 그 사람도 그렇고... 제가 주미강님이였으면 정말 화났을거같네요.. 연주가 장난도 아니고;; 모든 연주 한음한음 최선을 다하시는데 파트너분은 이게 장난인줄 아시나보네요.
신동으로 유명세를 떨치다가 기대했던것 만큼 기량이 좋아지지 못하고 오히려 후퇴를 해 버리는경우가 가끔씩 있습니다. 라딤 레핀 정말 안타깝군요.
Cette une belle interprétation qui mérite de figurer parmi les meilleures, malgré la retenue un peu récurrente des deux interprètes solistes.. Tout le monde n'est pas Oïstrakh !!

What happened to Repin? Some problem in his playing.......
He was a child prodigy but somehow could not manage to maintain his abilities and practice when growing up. Sad but well he still has a career going on
Yes, he fumbled around a couple of times. He is using unusual fingerings in some spots and perhaps didn't get them well rehearsed.
It's very sad indeed: just 5-7 years he was terrific in playing Tchaikovsky, but you know, very few violinists can be in shape at around 50 or later.
You guys don't know what you're talking about. Can't you see there's some kind of physical struggle? Nothing to do with talent in his youth or practice time.
Kang is absolutely stunning though.
Excellent first & third movements;
somehow the second didn't quite flow as expected.

I'm not a professional but I'm 100% sure that I can play this piece way better than Repin does here. Gosh, what happened to him? Did he just quit practicing the violin or what? It's very annoying because I'm here to enjoy Kang's beautiful play but Repin sounds awful and gets in Kang's way.
I saw Repin live a few years ago and it was a major disappointment. I do not know what happened to him.
He has focal dystonia...

저는 블라디미르꺼만 듣다가 바딤꺼는 처음 듣는데 아주 엉망이네요 저거 현장에서 보러 간 사람은 몇십만원 내고 갔을텐데
