Dear Wood, I don't know if you will ever see this, but I am 53 years old and I haven't played a Zelda game since the NES days babysitting. I am having so much fun! I would not be able to do anything had it not been for this walkthrough, you take the time to read everything and help things make sense. The first raft I had to make 9 times in total over a few days...I died 6 I think...Lol but finally added 4 logs to my raft instead of three and got there! Any way thank you so much! I usually play rpgs, but you make this so fun and I watch and pause and go play a bit and come back until I feel more confident. I did the fan raft and onlyndied once! I got stuck between the fence and the raft. I'm awful at this but your walkthrough is so helpful! I hope you see this! Thank you, I have been a subscriber to all your channels for years!
I've never actually screamed at a video until I watched Wood completely ignore everything on the other side of the Ascend shrine. Like the warm pants, the other dispenser, and the gliders. >_
Not just that. Preoccupied with his chat paymasters he misses some great moments like the fox running with him, name reveals of new locations, skips through the story. So annoying. Pity as his overview video of the game was excellent.
Thank you for putting this up wood. Seeing from the comments you managed to squeeze all your time into 8 hrs of highlights can’t wait to watch but I’m gonna finished the story first before I do. Thank you for putting this together though.
I didn't grow up with consoles at home and by the time I got into Zelda it was Link Between Worlds on an old second-hand 3DS that I bought during college. I joined that community late and it always felt like I was left behind alone. Watching Skootish's stream at the end there it only just hit me how fortunate I am, to be alive during the launch of BOTW and Tears of the Kingdom. This time I am finally witnessing history being made, in real time
Finally, someone who didn’t dive during the intro. The splash of water coinciding with last note of the intro theme hits very hard. And seeing most streams missing that since they’re so eager to dive has missed their chance haha
After playing the game for weeks & getting slowly through just the beginning, I laughed so hard when you said let’s just play through 😂😂 easy to go know where fast 🙌🏼
After playing this game for 160 hrs my self and another that helping my son with his game I think I can safely watch your first 3 streams without to much spoilers :). Have to add that best moments are when you fail epiclly ;)
I understand this is only part 1 so maybe he learned later on, but in an effort to help I will recommend not bombing or setting fire to things that may have food in them, you'll get more heart recovery cooking in a cooking pot instead of unintentionally roasting everything
