NOTE: On newer versions of the EMOVE Cruiser, the cords on the controller are different than what is shown in this tutorial. We are working on updated videos and diagrams currently and will provide a link to these updated assets here once they are ready. Thank you!

When he unplugged the first power connecter, I'm like, "Better put that sleeve back over it, before you expose the other one and they accidentally touch."
And then he sparks it 🤣

This was handy, not so I could replace my controller, but so I could wedge an Apple Airtag inside the front plastic cover, which allows the signal to escape. A bit of duct tape, and facing the metal section of the tag towards the controller gave the best range.

Why not in one of the sides wrapped in wires?

Ok my question is where is the speed limit wire if there is one ? I definitely want to unplug that to get the full power of my scooter it saids 1600w of power but it definitely not delivering that I got a 750w bike that walks my emove cruiser like nothing and I have my setting maxed on the cruiser so I’m sure there’s more power available just want to know which wire I need to cut or unplug I’m not worried about warranty plz help me if you know

Any idea what would cause the Controller to go out? I have only had my scooter for 35 miles on the odometer. So I am curious to find out why it would go out to soon.

I heard someone use a mini motor controller and it fixed that issue because the controller on the cruiser is weak and it’s not powerful enough and burns out just don’t know how to connect it if it’s the same

It was from a dualtron mini controller but he didn’t connect any lights or blinkers was talking to him on Facebook he said never overheated

    Hello,
I got an emove cruiser that no longer charges du to a electrical short circuit caused by the charger whose wires were bare.
do you think it could have damaged the battery?
I learned via Voro chat that the cruiser does not have a fuse, but a Sinewave controller. Is this part supposed to have protect the battery in this situation ?
many many thanks for any advices you can share

Heya, If you connect the black wire first with the battery. Which is negative, then you won't spark the battery.

Hi @voromotors, what's the easiest way to determine which controller i have? Square or Sine?? Is there a marking on the existing controller that i should tell the difference?

    • @VoroMotors
      @VoroMotors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there!
Typically, the sinewave controllers will be matte-black in color, and the older, square-wave controllers will be silver-colored. Hope this helps you!

Okay AJ so those two little gray wires with the black connectors that you left undone what were those because I just opened up my fender bumper because I've been having some issues with my bike stalling out and so I went to Facebook forum people there awesome thanks guys but I've got this one little gray wire and this black connector and then nothing else to connect it to and I see you got two of them but you left him unconnected and my wiring I'll have you know LOL did not look as pretty as yours I'll have to shoot you guys a shot of that and there's ones that have been so bad that it's pretty iffy back there anyways what are those two gray wires with the black connector that you have that are unplugged that you didn't plug back in? Impatiently waiting

The grey wire is usually a speed limiter, in place for countries with speed limits typically 25kmh. When connected the speed is limited, when broken it isn't.

Fine if you are an electrician. Hardly si ole for the layman! Why does the controller fail anyway! Needs to be better quality!
