I've no idea what I did but I just finally golded the Integra lap. And it took me less than 10 tries, inder half an hour. The trick is to accelerate and brake with analog, you **must** feather the throttle in corners with every FF car in this understeering simulator. Acc/braking with X and square makes the car dive too much, basically making it undriveable on this technical track. Same thing with the blue Mini in Tsukuba license test. Meanwhile stupid tests like Lancia on Grand Canyon took me hours. Anyway, this finally happened lol.
@@scotthecarnerd1995 Yeah, NTSC. Must be only some of them though--most of the license times are the same as what I see in the video. This was the only exception I noticed at least up through the A license tests. Guess they figured since this track is in Europe that those playing the EU version should be prepared to perform better lol XD
A12 is such a piece of shit to pass. "Normal" circuits are already bad enough since "realism" makes it so your car drifts like a motherfucker unless you brake like crazy before you are eligible to turn correctly; but this one like every fucking "rally" type race is a pain in the ass since even going straight you're drifting. And since you get an automatic fail if you dare drift out of the race (which isn't even obvious on the ground, I mean dirt on dirt doesn't look the same as a clear white line on grey ground)

Not true. Managed to get gold on my 2nd or 3rd try that way, you just have to through the car's weight through the corners and let off the gas.

Wonder what version this is. On my game A-16 gold time is 54:150. I still haven't attained it yet.
You either have the NTSC or the NTSC J version of the game which made the all the license times more easier to obtain than the PAL EU version shown.
