Their bites can absolutely kill people dummy 😂 but regardless, it isn't just their venom. It's their anticoagulant venom, bacteria in their mouths, their thrashing motions when the bite things and their claws that they use to tear at prey. Fact is- they absolutely can kill people. Regarding the sharks: They cannot actually smell from miles away, this is a myth as they are as good of smellers as any other fish. Sharks are not usually that dangerous and most attacks from the shark thinking that you are a seal or something else. They are very curious but rather try to reroute the shark or punch it. I cannot really speak for the other animals but don't climb trees for tigers.

I've read somewhere that if you look like a fighter to a predator, they may decide not to mess with you, because any injury will compromise their hunting abilities in future. So fight back is rather solid startegy.

FIY shark attacks are very rare and most species don't pose a threat except for some big ones like bullsharks, tigersharks, and great whites, although most of them only mistake you for a turtle or some fish. So while in the presence of one, try to not look like food as much as possible since sharks don't even like humans since we're bony and don't have a lot of meat compared to fish, and although they can smell our blood/urine, they would in most cases just ignore it since sharks tend to avoid humans and are not naturally inclined to hunt us.

Regarding the sharks: They cannot actually smell from miles away, this is a myth as they are as good of smellers as any other fish. Sharks are not usually that dangerous and most attacks from the shark thinking that you are a seal or something else. They are very curious but rather try to reroute the shark or punch it.
I cannot really speak for the other animals but don't climb trees for tigers.
Yep, and the "smelling blood from far away" is only true for some shark species but definitely not all
@@thrift272 also the “bloodthirst” sharks have is only really triggered by things that they know are food like if you scattered chum or fish blood in the water and at that point it’s just the shark smelling food, tasting food, and assuming this fleshy thing near them is food.

I've read somewhere that if you look like a fighter to a predator, they may decide not to mess with you, because any injury will compromise their hunting abilities in future. So fight back is rather solid startegy.

FIY shark attacks are very rare and most species don't pose a threat except for some big ones like bullsharks, tigersharks, and great whites, although most of them only mistake you for a turtle or some fish. So while in the presence of one, try to not look like food as much as possible since sharks don't even like humans since we're bony and don't have a lot of meat compared to fish, and although they can smell our blood/urine, they would in most cases just ignore it since sharks tend to avoid humans and are not naturally inclined to hunt us.
