Practice seemed a little better today from what I saw. I really wish girls would wear shoes and tie up their long braids. So many injuries have happened from slipping on socks, stepping on or landing on braids. It’s just a real safety concern and I don’t want anyone to have to learn the hard way.
Seems like Kari is actually a good tumbler. Previous vids she would mark them but wouldn’t consistently do them with the group for whatever reason so I didn’t realize how good of a tumbler she was. I was glad to see her more active during practice this time around! Keep it up.
Spears has been a fave since the beginning. She’s just an all around athlete, always showing up and doing whatever is needed for the team. I was surprised to see her doing so many bear crawls this vid.
The coach in me is itching I really would love to sharpen these young laddies up they have so much potential 😭
l think the coach is okay with them being mediocre. She seems the type that doesn't want anyone to step on her toes. She's not a disciplinarian by nature. You can see that through her own kids. She's okay with what they are doing. l've come to the conclusion that everyone doesn't really want to be the best.

Attitudes seemed a little better this practice, good job, but come on guys didn't she just have a talk about being fully ready for practice and STILL there are girls not wearing shoes. Carrie, I'm calling you out because you are the coaches daughter and she was just talking about your legacy in the gym and being a leader. Show by example how the girls should be expected to practice. It's a hard role you may not have asked for but if you want the gym to be your legacy you should be showing up in all ways. If you were 10 it might be a different scenario that you occasionally forget your shoes, although I still wouldn't see how that could happen because not once in my gym did a girl not have shoes on at practice except if there was an injury, but you are of a responsible age and can be accountable for your own footwear. It makes your mom look bad that you are not being responsible as well. If the coaches daughter doesn't show up right for practice then how can she enforce others needing to show up right without showing favoritism. You all have shoes, we know this because you wear them at competition so it's not like there are passes because some don't have the proper footwear, we know you have them. The whole outfit, practice and competition, sets up for a good mental attitude of being there to work for the common goal, to win, where is the effort? You all are getting better now just complete it and take your titles!
Also great job to the girls who have changed and are putting in the work, I see some attitude adjustments and work ethic adjustments in some who didn't want it before, I see you putting in the work!

For baskets try to have the back spots throw the flyer by the ankles. It helps with height and the flyers should push off bases and throw there arms by there ears like they are trying to touch the ceiling to get more height. Just a thought because i did cheer for 7 years.
Or they can throw underneath the basket (bases hands) that’ll make the flyer hold her weight also

Unfortunately you need to be the "drill sergeant" coaches... stop trying to be nice. They don't just need a friend they need a LEADER. They need to tighten up. If they don't want to tighten up and be disciplined then make some cuts. I assume you girls want to win, you gotta be the best to win. I've been following for a few days now. & I want you all to be the best you can be and win. If it's all fun and games then stick to making tik toks girls & stop wasting your parents money. If you need someone there telling them to "TIGHTEN UP!" "AGAIN!" "QUIET DOWN, I WONT SAY IT AGAIN" "I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND IN HERE!" or "GET OUT, YOUR DONE!" EXC let me know cuz yall alittle too soft with these girls.

As a cheerleader, this is a sport for fun a enjoyment. It’s okay to be I little stern for discipline, but we don’t need yelling and screaming when we mess up. This coach is teaching her own team and is actually doing a decent job. Being stern is ok but all that extra evil shit isn’t. (Sorry I’m like 2 months late)

Coach black, you really need to set a braid length for them. Really dangerous to have braids that long when doing this type of cheering.
And they have to start wearing their shoes as well for safety.
You should set example out of your daughter and stop playing nice with her.
And seriously for the girls that don't want to be there,STOP WASTING YOUR TIME WITH THEM ,KICK THEM OFF THE TEAM

Why is Keri the only one with no shoes on. She needs to be exercising the entire practice for it or not allowed to practice
There’s other people in there with no shoes yeah Keri might now have socks on but I’m pretty sure her mom straighten her up before practice, Keri mom is a coach and knows how to prepare and teach them.
You guys have better attitudes this practice BUT I want you guys to keep in mind the coaches are here to help you reach your greatest potential. You guys obviously have what it takes to be the best but being a all black team in competition will have the spot light on y’all even more bcuz they’ll expect y’all to mess up or be loud or have attitudes... you guys have it pretty easy bcuz my coaches from back in the 90s didn’t play and we did it until we got it right no matter how late we were at practice. It’s a great feeling when you win but what’s it feel like to lose? Work on not talking so much during practice.. the coaches shouldn’t have to yell or over talk you guys. If y’all or comfortable displaying these images for the world to see make sure we see the best you guys have to offer. Other than that y’all look great and keep up the good work

This is a black owned Gym these young ladies need too pay close attention too the coaches mentor ship bc there is a lot too learn from the coaches . There aren’t a lot of women black owned gyms around yet these girls DNT seem too respect the hustle from the coaches how hard they work too get there where they are now!!! I cheered for a D1 school and win plenty of competitions. I want to see these wrong ladies do well. However, they have to want to do well themselves. There should be no extra laughing and talking especially if they are not hitting the moves correctly. Even my high school band director treated up like college students. No half-stepping and playing games.

Mayfield need to chill out. She is a child. So what someone had an opinion on you. Its not your place to "correct" anyone. There are 2 types of languages body and verbal. Maybe you didn't have an attitude verbally maybe it was your body language( rolling eyes, huffing, puffing) or maybe you didn'thave an attitude at all. Let it go you are viewed on this platform where comments and feedback are allowed. As long as no one is calling you out your name or threatening you. Let it go. Or report it to kevin or your coach.. To have the comment removed.Some of these girls act TOO GROWN. And I haven't wrote anything negative about this team because I see the potential and I love how coach black loves her girls like her own. But this whewwww. Stay in a child's place. I love you all but unless they have a health condition these girls need to wear masks and coach black can’t expect them to wear masks when she doesn’t enforce it or wear one herself. No hate I am just concerned for the team’s health
They are touching eachother in the opening and in the stunts masks in this situation won’t prevent Covid spread. They kinda have to touch eachother bc it’s apart of the routine.
@@sxniaa i understand that but covid is a respiratory disease so it’s transmitted more by mouth and nose to another mouth and nose than by surfaces or touching especially if they are regularly sanitizing
