It was great to meet you in person at Samphire on Thursday. Since talking to you have Joined DSSA and waiting for the access pass stuff to come through. It would be good if you could give a bit of a rod/rig breakdown for someone that last fished the Addy some 40 years ago. Some close ups of you wall rod rest would be nice as well. Keep up the great content guys.
Nothing wrong with Horse Mackerel have you ever eaten them? If you know how to prep them there as good if not better than the other type. Tight lines good luck.
I’ve fished for both sea and freshwater species, and it has always puzzled me why sea anglers are so disrespectful to the fish they catch that they are returning to the sea?? Allowing them to bounce around on rough concrete and throwing them back from a height instead of using a drop net.
Like everywhere it has it's good days , but I think fishing as a whole in our area has changed ,in some ways ,bass and hounds for the better ,but cod fishing is a dead loss
@@priestandbakerfishinguk5871 yeah i remember when i was a kid a hundredweight of cod weight uncommon and best boat trip i had was me and my old dad on his boat 20 cod over 20lb and 3 were over 30 that was two rods bottom fishing not wrecking never see them days again but like u say we never saw hounds rays and bass off the beach like we do now
Wow! I've not seen a ball like that for a long time 😮❤
That's what Hitler's wife said.
Suprised you can get through to the water with all those dingys coming over

Georgous little fella
Could see it was a joey sized shoal - zero point in fishing for undersized mackerel.
Good bait mate, not like we took a bag full, I only took 1 for live bait which I know was wrong
Funny chaps :) 👍👍👍

I fish the Warren and the rocks off Folkestone/sandgate hope to cross paths one day until then tight line's fellas! 🤘

Great video guys😊

For mackerel fishing try a carp waggler rod and enjoy the fight..
The vicar was using s 1-3oz bass rod, I just wanted a few for bait but yes your right if your going for them go light
I always use a nash scope carp rod for mackerel its always in the boot just in case
Spitfire sounded amazing.
Shame the video doesn't show it so well
