Yeah, loot already sinks too fast honestly. Sometimes when there is a ton of loot in play it instantly sinks so you have to hop in and start floating it immediately.

Good lord, I've completely abandoned this game the last two years and I've played since launch. Stop telling the player base you are focusing on game performance on every single update. Game performance has slowly gotten worse with each passing update DISPITE you claiming to be focused on game performance. Its a lie and one ive got so sick of hearing the past couple years ive just stopped engaging with the game. I have 132 million gold in game and literally 0 items to spend it on, its the only currency in the game we can actually grind for and generally seems to be intended as the core currency but its literally useless. The fact that the pirate emporium gets constant over priced garbage added to it while my 132 million slowly grows all while game performance hits the deck is beyond a joke. Wish i had reason to return to the seas with the crew but there just isn't any.
So real. In a similar situation myself, tried to hop on the game the other day, couldn't load into a server after ~15 minutes and realized I was forcing myself to try to play this game 😢
- where is mimic dart? - few months ago you said you will make hourglass available only after reaching Pirate Legend. Where is that? It would cut the amount of cheaters at least in half - every video you say you are working on game performance so how does it get worse every update? - what happened with ship names in hourglass? They dissapeared after one content update and you never bothered to bring them back - where are the Fight Nights that you said you will bring more reguralry? - and much more There are so many issues with the game I don't have any hope left and I really could forgive a lot because I really loved what SoT once was. I believe the year 2025 will be the last for this game existence even though they say otherwise.
The truth of the matter is they only have ~10% of the staff actually focusing on the game cause the remaining 90% are working on something else or on the Switch 2 port. They are supporting too many platforms (like xbox one VCR) and they can't keep up.
This is so true, except for the game dying part. But each missing feature you pointed out is what I personnally don't understand at all with Rare's game developpment.
@@Hadeks_Marow i doubt the switch2 is much of an upgrade over the switch. maybe it can handle breath of the wild at 30 fps now since it couldnt handle it at 15 fps. but sea of thieves on cursed probably wouldnt even run. plus you would have to have nintendo understand how the internet works. all their stupid online games require system friend codes AND in game friend codes because how does the internet work again? nintendo has always been 20 years behind the times on hardware and networking capabilities. while dreamcast was trying to start an online experience nintendo is all about portability and playing on co-op on a couch with split screen
Honestly if Xbox had VAC bans like Steam, where if you're caught cheating, you're not only banned from the game, but you're entire Steam account is banned, making your whole library and everything you've purchased inaccessible, then there would be a lot less cheaters. I mean, how many times is someone going to buy the same game over and over after being banned?
I haven't played this game in ages, but after doing hourglass and getting both curses. I got pretty bored. i just wished hourglass was more fun it feels really random, sometimes just getting constantly spammed by blunder bombs. I think why arena was fun was you got sunk and had a chance to comeback and win. I feel like when you sink in hourglass you have to restock and do everything again. I think hourglass would greatly benefit from having a fixed amount of resources. So everyone has an equal amount of supplies. So if you lose and try again in the next match, you get the same resources as the enemy team.
I don't want to be negative, but didn't you tell us the same thing last year? And 2 years ago? It's only gotten worse to be honest, I find it hard to believe that you're going to succeed in changing what you haven't been able to do despite your promises in recent years

When I hear ''New content'' , I don't want to hear ''Pirate Emporium''. With hundreds of pages, the cash shop feels bloated. To much of said new content goes there, and to few in the actual game
This has been one of my complaints as well. There's not enough stuff in the gold stores, and almost everything they do add to it are behind commendations, ESPECIALLY the new weapons. Barely any skins at their launch and the ones that do exist are emporium or commendation locked. Curses used to be solely progression rewards, and now they are in the emporium. They really need to add more gold items.
And the new browse UI, their latest UI, is not only missing items but doesn't have useable filters nor a search. As for the gold, totally agree. And then they add a dozen items below 10k... like sure not everyone has 100M lying around but gold is easier to come by then ever and they add items worth less than one captain skull, like why?

Game performance has been a pain point now for more years than it hasn't. I'm glad to see you're investing into it and I wish you the best of luck! Your list of exploit fixes though... wow... uh teleporting is a pretty big one but Commodity and Shop security are major focus points? Over flying hacks, keg spawners, aimbots/wallhacks, loot duping, and NoClipping? I hear you when you say it's on the list... but that's like comparing the Cali forest fires to a lit cigarette bud in the trash. Some problems are SIGNIFICANTLY more problematic than others and buying a few extra pinapples is pretty far down on the priority list imo.
There are 2 bugs ruining my experience right now. 1) The game won’t save my keybind changes to the crouch button. Every time I load the game I have to change it away from the control key because that’s my food key. Everything was fine until season 14 dropped. 2) My mouse no longer stays on my main monitor, it will go out into my other monitors despite confirming my settings are correct so I have to disable my other monitors in order to play.. again, was fine before season 14 dropped. I submitted bug reports for these ages ago and still nothing from the “strike team”?
My mouse has the same problem if I use the xbox gamebar to invite or join someone. If I use steam or in-game it works fine and the mouse stays captive. Hope that can help you!
As much as I hated doing the windows update that I didn't know was there, it worked. Messed up my RGB pretty good but once I got that sorted it's fine. So thanks 😊
Members of Rare. This message is quite important in my eyes and I didn't know anywhere else to upload it. And I do ask if you do see it please read it. Hello: I am a dedicated player of this game and unlike other people I have not ran into a lot of game braking bugs. I have bean playing fore over a year and have almost 50 days in the game. It is my favorite game and I wouldn't want it to change. Unfortunately while playing today with 3 of my friends we did some HG and got our all time highest streak of 13. We were so excited about it and honestly it's probably the best I felt in this game for a while. Until we ran into my first game breaking bug. The ships spawned way below the water to the point where we cant even swim down to it and we had no way of getting it out, unfortunately we were forced to scuttle and that didn't even work until eventually after 3 hours we just had to leave the game. I understand you guys have a lot that you guys are dealing with and I'm not really asking for the game to change or anything I'm just asking if there is a way for anything to come out of this I'm not mad at all just a bit upset. Keep doing what you're doing you haven't done anything wrong.
Safer Seas gets more use because we are sick to death of coming across the same old cheater's who just do a new email address and use their cheats. Reports get the same 'we are looking at this internally so can not tell you the outcome' that's a nice way to say we can't do anything 😢
Yeah, but if you do that, you end up realizing that the game itself is boring. :/ I just wish the game had a sense of progression that wasn't just cosmetic-based.
Welcome back Drew! I hope you and the rest of the team had a good holiday break with lots of good food and rest. I'm excited to see what you guys have cookin this year!
dont worry about exploiting for pinnaples, you cant be running a game that has flying aimbotting quickswaping cannon teleporting and instaladder players going around with no warn
They can. Falcore just hasn't submitted a portfolio showing he can make anything in a game engine. It takes more than spitballing ideas to be a game dev, my friend.
@@Infernal7377 That doesn't solve the core issue that anyone can come up with good ideas. Game devs need to actually be able to implement them. Hence why I mentioned needing a portfolio showing practical skill because that's how you get hired. It takes more than armchair spitballing to implement a feature.
I haven’t played this game in two years and don’t even know what’s new. But I have some ideas that would bring me back. 1. More wildlife and more Npc’s to make the world feel more alive. 2. A area with a bigger isle density and secret hideouts that are customisable. 3. Outpost are boring, why not add more houses and Npc’s with unique quests to customise your home. Or maybe a Pirate island with a city. 4. Option to buy an island and bild your own fortress through the new quests with the added Npc’s. 5. The game is boring when there is nothing to grind, so why not add something that it’s worth grinding for. If the player sees what he has achieved through the grind it’s more fun playing. But I know the servers probably couldn’t handle that.😅
My friend sent you guys a clip of a guy blatantly aimbotting, spawn camping, instant ladder climbing, the whole shabang, and you guys didn't ban him because there "wasn't enough evidence". My felllow pirates, cheaters aren't going anywhere.
*"we are going to break up our ships so that we can load them in stages when joining a server"* Ahhh yes, can't wait to set sail on my ship with no cannons/mast/anchor as they didn't load.. P.S also can't wait for them to delay update and say smth about being 9/10 confident in it, lol
Make a mega chest that every ship spawns with that you can store 50 pieces of common treasure into. Maybe this would help not having so much treasure having to load on ships. You could have it be where bringing your ship close to an outpost would allow you to turn in any treasure that is in the mega chest by holding down on sell from chest option. Enemies trying to steal loot from the mega chest on player ships have to empty it one piece of treasure at a time. The mega chest can spawn as a little box on the bow.
I hope they play test their monthly update before releasing it this time! It would be a shame if they released it with game breaking bugs... but they would never do something like that because they are a professional company
Well here's what I want for SoT Another possible ship that holds 5-6 More clothing options More weapon customizations More Sea Shanties being able to save your progress such as cannons, food, and wood on your ship instead of buying all over again Expand map? being able to raise emissary flag on ship I know these things take time and which I'm in no rush I still like the game when playing with friends but it does get stale when playing solo for me i got over 2 mil in gold coin but I'll love it I bought most stuff in the game already I'll love it if we get to upgrade our weapons and even cannons. But that's just my opinion
In order for them to improve they must do many things: 1-change the Easy Anti cheat, that crap is disastrous as anti cheat 2-I think it will improve the performance of the servers. It is impossible to play even in safe seas without being at +400 ping 3-change the ban system, it cannot be that a person who is banned can play again as if nothing had happened
I played the beta, played at launch, came back for the Pirates of the Caribean story cause its been my favorite ride since I was a kid, and have now come back to play with my friend who is undergoing a bone marrow transplant who is a pirate legend and this has been his game. And I am just floored with how much the game has changed for the better and how much work has been done in every aspect. I legit can't wait to see how this game continues to grow, it's just fantastic
The funny thing about the dev team: They are gonna read all these comments. . . and the only thing the team will actually walk away from this with after reading everything. . . is that drew had something in his hair and that's it. Everything else they will somehow not even notice. And that's just too dang funny how sad that is.
My biggest problems are connectivity issues, im so tired of me and my friends disconnecting for no reason. Its ridiculous how unstable the servers STILL are. Especially with the low player count lately. Also the preview for items in the shop and the chests disappear if i browse for too long.. super annoying.
PS5 crashing when game chat is active is the most frustrating bug. It's a community game however if you are on PlayStation it has to be a single player. Love the game, love the vibe... Some little niggles but easy fixes. Any update would be grand.
I appreciate the update, are there any reassurances that can be made that breaking up ships won't result in issues with cannonball registering hits? They've been a constant and I'm worried messing with how ships are built and loaded will cause other systems to be affected.
@@matthewloscar2893 No that's absolutely wrong. I've had at least a dozen scenarios where an enemy ship has hit a cannonball on my own mast, and I've seen it hit my mast, but there is no damage done to the mast at all. This was all during the last 2-3 weeks and if the cannon ball hits the mast on their end and I see it hit the mast on my end, but not register the mast as damaged, then that's an actual problem.
I don’t think he meant literally breaking the ship into different hit boxes. Instead he means that they will prioritize different parts of the ship to load first. For example I’d bet that all the trinkets take a long time to load so if they prioritize other parts of the ship to load first, things will be smoother
I had a similar concern about prioritizing moving players when teleporting from a mermaid or ferry I think in some cases itll make people's hitboxes load faster than their ability to control and therefore be able to be spawn camped easier
It’s my favorite game, took all the time you need but never let this game fall into the wrong hands (all games have cheaters) try to improve on cheaters and maybe find a point of understanding for example for resources I find that we can’t buy enough without having to resort to glitches it’s a shame! Good luck (never let go of your game, despite all the criticism) (if we criticize it because we love it)
I would like to see the ability to stack voyages or offer differing lengths of voyages. Even the longests forms of say treasure hunting only go over a few islands. But what if I want to sail 10 or even all of the islands? It would nice to have more selections for duration on voyages across the board giving more risk vs reward. For merchant, when you are following the path trying to locate a sunken ship, it would be nice for longer paths or even more difficult paths to follow weaving between islands and what not. I just would like to see the voyages get lengthened in a way that the longer you are out collecting loot the more risk you are carrying of being sunk by an enemy. Voyage length adjustments could also be made only when there is an emissary up. I feel this would bring more variety and complexity to the game in a healthy way.
This is so good to hear. I cant tell you how badly my vibes are killed when my game rubber bands during every single player encounter. (Playing on a Brand new series X with wired connection)
For safer seas since it's private. Make a higher team allowance for each ship. Make the sloop 4 and the galleon 10 or more. It would make for a lot more fun and for the introduction of more enemies to attack at once... also maybe lanterns on the ship getting color skins....
I got this game on a Ps5 after christmas and the server stability is rough. My friends and I always get kicked or run into PC cheaters. I took a screen shot of a guy during an hourglass pvp fight that had thier ship wedged up into a mountain side. Went to investigate it and some how they transported tons on bomb berrals into my ship and insta sunk it.
Love to hear you actually explaining what you are doing to improve game performance as it makes it actually feel like you are changing things for the better rather than "It's more efficient now"
Give it up and implement private servers where you can either play alone with normal progression or invite only people you want to share the seas with. That's the future of this game now
Honestly, I am ok with this. You guys have been transparent as of late and I know how much backend can hinder you or cause more issues up front so I know this is necessary. I would argue though if it still doesn't pan out after the fact there isn't many other excuses. I hope that isn't the case because I love this game and I want it to thrive!
I appreciate Sea of Thieves company. It's a great game, and the company is always willing to stay connected with its gamers! This is why I love this franchise! ❤ 🎉 😊 CHEERS!!!!
Encountering and reporting a hardcore hacker, who is flying, insulting, teleporting, quickswaping, aimboting and nonstop posting where to get his stinking cheats too etc leads to "we need further information" feedback.. what is the point of that nonsense? I would not even know how to provide further information (that you can trust as much as the initial reporting by the way) - YOU have to check his game activity data somehow then! or do you expect players to send you packages with HDD, camera footage and protocols and some selfmade cookies?
To be honest whenever I’ve ran into a cheater all it’s taken. Is a video clip showing them cheating less then 30 seconds and showing their gamertag n they r banned instantly
I did see this one guy's ship on fire when a red tornado was above and on Wanderer's Refuge. I tried to help put it out. It didn't go out and well, they killed me like how they usually do.
I'll check back once you've actually fixed the game, Rare, and not just made Drew give more promises you're so dedicated to leave unfinished. What a game have you effed up
There is no dev out there that fixed against cheaters. Hackers will always update their program and you are back in square one. Optimization is not an issue at all. The biggest problem is not enough players out at see. Also you should implement Navy Forces...kinda like the cops. An add multiship guild feature so a big guild could run with an armada of ships. This will keep the game going with more stuff to do
I think the best way to return a lot of players is create possibilities to connect your friend in safer seas on his own ship. In my opinion game will not loose if devs will give us a choice play PvP or PvE. Not everyone enjoys pvp, so if they’ll give us in safer seas all possibilities like in open sea, I’m gonna download this game again and start playing with my friends, kids and wife.
Still bringing this up: At some point you will need to recreate the game in a newer, more sophisticated version of unreal engine. This one is already hitting the limit. It would probably help with a lot of performance issues and can be seen as a restart.
It sounds cool but I've been hearing this refrain for years... "We hear you, we are fixing our stuff, don't worry!" then basically nothing changes or, even worse, you release broken updates introducing even more bugs and exploits. We'll see if this time, hopefully, things will really get better but Imma be honest, I don't really trust you anymore for this kind of stuff...
I hope Rare will realize at some point that the supply game doesn't compute. For HG specifically, and remember one side always sinks and has to start from scratch, merchant + captain supplies are fine... for a sloop. But on a gally? Sure you can hit up a sea fort or whatever but this drags and is poison for the game mode. When I sink, I'm 10% mad that I lost and 90% mad because we have to resupply again before we can hop back in. Then there is so much crap in barrels these days that you basically have to OG collect again and this gets old after a while, especially and I can't stress this enough, when the inventories start to lag since an update or two.

Up!
So real. In a similar situation myself, tried to hop on the game the other day, couldn't load into a server after ~15 minutes and realized I was forcing myself to try to play this game 😢

Look, all very cool. But I swear I've seen this exact video for the last 2 years
- where is mimic dart?
- few months ago you said you will make hourglass available only after reaching Pirate Legend. Where is that? It would cut the amount of cheaters at least in half
- every video you say you are working on game performance so how does it get worse every update?
- what happened with ship names in hourglass? They dissapeared after one content update and you never bothered to bring them back
- where are the Fight Nights that you said you will bring more reguralry?
- and much more
There are so many issues with the game I don't have any hope left and I really could forgive a lot because I really loved what SoT once was.
They need to see this comment

You must be new here.
I don't really like the fact that a banned player creates a new account for free and comes back to the game to cheat
But he mentioned them working on ban evasion didn't he?
Honestly if Xbox had VAC bans like Steam, where if you're caught cheating, you're not only banned from the game, but you're entire Steam account is banned, making your whole library and everything you've purchased inaccessible, then there would be a lot less cheaters. I mean, how many times is someone going to buy the same game over and over after being banned?
Xbox game pass is the problem, it allows banned cheaters to hop back on for free
@ Im 'working' on my abs, still fat tho
Maybe the answer is not a ban. Make the cheaters play with each other
I haven't played this game in ages, but after doing hourglass and getting both curses.
It's only gotten worse to be honest, I find it hard to believe that you're going to succeed in changing what you haven't been able to do despite your promises in recent years
Theres been a lot of good changes and improvements in the last 2 years... not sure where you've been.
@@alienmagi To give you a bit of context, I've been playing the game since day one so I've seen all the changes as they've gone along. I'm not saying there hasn't been any good content, but promising us the end of lags, rollback and to calm down cheating is something we've been hearing every 3 months for 2 years and nothing has really changed.
Especially during the holidays, cheaters were very active, and we still meet these same players in hourglass today. But I'm open to debate, I'm not saying I'm right.

Rare is a skeleton of what they used to be when SoT first came out. There is like only three or four of the original crew still working on it.
A... skeleton crew?
And none of them play the game themselves
When the game first came out? Brother, I KNOW you didn’t play that game because IT was the skeleton. The was NOTHING to do in the game. @@zebdawson3687 A year in was their peak in my opinion. While there wasn't much to do at launch, they still managed to set up all of the core foundations of the game which was pretty impressive, and as soon as the anniversary update came out the game was in one of its best states. The effort from the team pretty much declined from there.

@@StarRider587Not enough stuff in gold stores??
What are you talking about?
It's full with hundreds of clothes, ships cosmetics, etc. Not to mention the pirate legend store where a ship cosmetic costs about 8 mil.

I'm really rooting for this game to make a comeback but man each of these updates has felt like the same lip service for like a year now.
longer than that honestly. at least half of the video is repeated every update
A year😂 you must be new.

You need to run updates in windows. There is an optional update that fixes the game bar. Or move to Ubuntu like I did. SOT runs 100x better on Ubuntu

Keep doing what you're doing you haven't done anything wrong.
working on the ban evasion issues is very important, but please dont ban for unreasonable things, dont wanna get perm Id banned for saying ''f*ck''
ban evaders are 50% of the game
That hair cut is crazy
Safer Seas gets more use because we are sick to death of coming across the same old cheater's who just do a new email address and use their cheats. Reports get the same 'we are looking at this internally so can not tell you the outcome' that's a nice way to say we can't do anything 😢
If you report a player on their website they do, in fact, give you an update on the player.
learn how to bot and host your own full progress server. its easy and the devs are too dumb to catch on
They said they are working on ban evasion though right?
Yeah, but if you do that, you end up realizing that the game itself is boring. :/
I just wish the game had a sense of progression that wasn't just cosmetic-based.
@@SoTOreo how?

Can Rare just hire Captain Falcore already?
They can. Falcore just hasn't submitted a portfolio showing he can make anything in a game engine.
It takes more than spitballing ideas to be a game dev, my friend.
We know the games dead and buried if that happens
@@PlebNC Well Rare seems to be in a drought of ideas so they should hire anyone with an inkling of a creative mind to think of absolutely anything
@@Infernal7377 That doesn't solve the core issue that anyone can come up with good ideas. Game devs need to actually be able to implement them. Hence why I mentioned needing a portfolio showing practical skill because that's how you get hired. It takes more than armchair spitballing to implement a feature.
Yeah right, what the game needs is a 50 year old loremaster of a children's game with inconsistent and plain awful lore
Bring the senior developers back to the game development and fix the 70/30 ratio between emporium artists and game developers and we're all set.
But I know the servers probably couldn’t handle that.😅
This is absolutely the right place to start. Good work folks.
Make fishing great again
i mean thats next season but its not about fish as much as hunting megs so
My friend sent you guys a clip of a guy blatantly aimbotting, spawn camping, instant ladder climbing, the whole shabang, and you guys didn't ban him because there "wasn't enough evidence". My felllow pirates, cheaters aren't going anywhere.
I appreciate the transparency!!! It's nice to know how much work is actually being put into something
Can we forget about the emporium forever?
can we fix the ship stutter caused by diving too many times in a session? i've had ungodly amounts of stutter over a 15 streak in hourglass.
A relaunch might be beneficial in the near future
A second Sea of Thieves game needs to happen with no lying creators telling us “we’re fixing things don’t you worry”
*"we are going to break up our ships so that we can load them in stages when joining a server"*
Ahhh yes, can't wait to set sail on my ship with no cannons/mast/anchor as they didn't load..
P.S also can't wait for them to delay update and say smth about being 9/10 confident in it, lol
anchor and wheel already load in very late
Make a mega chest that every ship spawns with that you can store 50 pieces of common treasure into. Maybe this would help not having so much treasure having to load on ships. You could have it be where bringing your ship close to an outpost would allow you to turn in any treasure that is in the mega chest by holding down on sell from chest option. Enemies trying to steal loot from the mega chest on player ships have to empty it one piece of treasure at a time. The mega chest can spawn as a little box on the bow.
Maybe a chest that requires two players to hold, like gears of war
@SweetSweetJustice idk about that... Solo sloops and all. But it's interesting
I hope they play test their monthly update before releasing it this time! It would be a shame if they released it with game breaking bugs... but they would never do something like that because they are a professional company
Will there be a fix to everyone loading in as green skeletons
Well here's what I want for SoT
Another possible ship that holds 5-6
More clothing options
More weapon customizations
More Sea Shanties
being able to save your progress such as cannons, food, and wood on your ship instead of buying all over again
Expand map?
being able to raise emissary flag on ship
I know these things take time and which I'm in no rush I still like the game when playing with friends but it does get stale when playing solo for me i got over 2 mil in gold coin but I'll love it I bought most stuff in the game already I'll love it if we get to upgrade our weapons and even cannons. But that's just my opinion
In order for them to improve they must do many things:
1-change the Easy Anti cheat, that crap is disastrous as anti cheat
2-I think it will improve the performance of the servers. It is impossible to play even in safe seas without being at +400 ping
3-change the ban system, it cannot be that a person who is banned can play again as if nothing had happened
Will some of these fix how the game performs on the Burning Blade? Performance on that ship can get pretty rough sometimes.
I don’t know if they can optimize that ship any further since it is so big and has so many npcs
The funny thing about the dev team:
They are gonna read all these comments. . . and the only thing the team will actually walk away from this with after reading everything. . . is that drew had something in his hair and that's it.
Thanks for continuing to work hard! Hope these changes are implemented sooner rather than later
Sea of thieves is still one of my favourite games.
Thank you Rare crew for your continued efforts.
PS5 crashing when game chat is active is the most frustrating bug. It's a community game however if you are on PlayStation it has to be a single player. Love the game, love the vibe... Some little niggles but easy fixes. Any update would be grand.
Give us caption ships in safer seas. We need them for selling loot faster
Still love the game , glad to see a game this age is still constantly being worked on and updated ...keep up the good work , much love ♥️
I appreciate the update, are there any reassurances that can be made that breaking up ships won't result in issues with cannonball registering hits? They've been a constant and I'm worried messing with how ships are built and loaded will cause other systems to be affected.
that's just a skill issue, hitreg is bad but cannonballs don't hitreg on ships, only players
@@matthewloscar2893cannon reg happens all the time lmao
I don’t think he meant literally breaking the ship into different hit boxes. Instead he means that they will prioritize different parts of the ship to load first. For example I’d bet that all the trinkets take a long time to load so if they prioritize other parts of the ship to load first, things will be smoother
I had a similar concern about prioritizing moving players when teleporting from a mermaid or ferry
I think in some cases itll make people's hitboxes load faster than their ability to control and therefore be able to be spawn camped easier

It’s my favorite game, took all the time you need but never let this game fall into the wrong hands (all games have cheaters) try to improve on cheaters and maybe find a point of understanding for example for resources I find that we can’t buy enough without having to resort to glitches it’s a shame! Good luck (never let go of your game, despite all the criticism) (if we criticize it because we love it)
I love the work you guys put into SoT. I’ve been playing for years and look forward to years more. Thanks for the hard work
I would like to see the ability to stack voyages or offer differing lengths of voyages.
For the love of God. Improve safer seas. Let us at least have captaincy
I love how Drew does handsigning for the hearing impaired.
Well done Rare keep up the hard work do note some of those cheat report's are from salty losses, there are folk out there that have freaky skills

sounds great thank you for these developer updates always appreciated as a player
Give it up and implement private servers where you can either play alone with normal progression or invite only people you want to share the seas with. That's the future of this game now
Please fix PS5 constantly crashing from game chat when other players are around.
There have been times when I suddenly just fall into some water when I'm trying to get back on my sloop while on the shore! It's quite weird!

Rare: best i can do is a longer harpoon gun shot.
What about fixing hitreg?

I'll check back once you've actually fixed the game, Rare, and not just made Drew give more promises you're so dedicated to leave unfinished. What a game have you effed up
All I could focus on was the bit of lint on his hair 😂
There is no dev out there that fixed against cheaters. Hackers will always update their program and you are back in square one.
Optimization is not an issue at all.
The biggest problem is not enough players out at see. Also you should implement Navy Forces...kinda like the cops. An add multiship guild feature so a big guild could run with an armada of ships. This will keep the game going with more stuff to do
We appreciate all your efforts, team. Hopefully it just gets better from here!
Please fix the audio bug with the ashen tornado where the audio becomes distorted due to the smokescreen

Still bringing this up:
At some point you will need to recreate the game in a newer, more sophisticated version of unreal engine. This one is already hitting the limit. It would probably help with a lot of performance issues and can be seen as a restart.
Honestly this game needs a game engine update ASAP
Why didn't we have Grogmany this year ... ?
