Been a punk/hardcore/metalhead since the mid 80’s so i cant help watching these ”bought a collection”-videos and just be drooling 😁 I have a lot of the stuff but there is so much gold in there. You touched upon an expensive re-press, imo there is soo many killer reissues being released (and have been released the last 10-15 years) , a lot of extra stuff in them and in limited color versions etc etc. I say give it a decade or so and these will go for a shitload of money. Its a golden age for vinyl right now and has been for at least a decade, especially in metal/punk
It’s funny that you started out with a Danzig reference for $5… I recently picked up a well loved copy for $5.99 and the cover was a little beat but the vinyl is still good. Haha
Thrall-Demonsweatlive isn't a techno record, I think you're thinking of Danzig 5: Blackacidevil, which is a techno/industrial record, Thrall is 4 live tracks, an Elvis cover and 2 tracks from a cancelled EP, I hate correcting people but I just had to, being the Misfits lunatic that I am.
Sweet Exhorder shirt. Slaughter In The Vatican is one of my favorite albums of all time. Yeah Vinnie LaBella left Exhorder back in Feb 2020. It really sucks as not only were he and Kyle Thomas the only original members but Vinnie was the main music writer in the band. Outside of the lyrics which singer Kyle Thomas writes, all the music on their last album Mourn The Southern Skies was written by Vinnie basically. The band has been carrying on as a 4 piece and they're working on a new album. I've seen some recent live show vids and they really need to get another second guitarist. Exhorder are at their best as a 2 guitar band. I have no idea what to expect from the new album. It's a shame that Exhorder only has 3 studio albums. I wish there were more. All 3 albums are great though imo, so it's definitely quality over quantity with them.
@@ThrashMetalIQ Agreed. At least we got Mourn The Southern Skies. I was just hoping things would've lasted longer than they did. If a new album comes out I'll give it a chance. More out of curiosity than anything. All of the current lineup played on Mourn so at least the new members have a little history with the band. One thing I'm stoked for is the new Vio-Lence ep. Eternal NIghtmare is a killer album.
Im surprised about the Sodom record, it sounds ok but I sold mine along time ago because I didnt think it sounded that great. Kinda prefered my cd and I think its counterfit I know the label was us based. I saw a video with the label owner talking about how thier reissues were done from vinyl not any kind of studio tape. The label not putting anything new since that Sodom kinda makes me feel like maybe Im right. Its pretty rare, so I kinda see why its so pricey.
LOL...let's be honest OBC is a classic first wave black metal album, but no amount of remixes will ever make it sound good - they have been trying for decades lol
@@hellionrebellionrocknrolla744 I had a few good ones - a few good blues ones as well- really good Jazz records are tough to come by...there are plenty of Chuck Mangione and Kenny G records floating around tho lol

Got it, I will have to go back and listen again. Maybe I have it confused with one of his other industrial albums from the 90s
