thanks for all the video I wanted to provide a little information about the M1 to share my adventure I bought this bike for the sum of 589€ I was satisfied with the delivery and I think that for the price it remains a good basic bike given the crazy prices in France I had some worries the axle of the rear wheel was a little warped so they agreed to change the wheel for me their after-sales service is very effective 1 week I'm very happy with this bike I did 1400 km a few falls but nothing changed. I made the luxury of buying a 15 AH battery I gained a lot of power and the must I bought the 6-pin s866 display which is on the M1+ it's a giant very efficient geekbuying service good luck y hope the french traduction is good
I got one in september (m+ version), had to replace a few parts though. Crank arm bent like a pool noodle first time i had a spill on it, so put a shimano acera chainset on it. The freewheel developed some longitudinal play and started making an annoying clicking noise when i was pedalling so i chucked a shimano freewheel on it, which considering they didn't use any grease on the threads of the original one was a nightmare to remove. I needed to buy a derailleur hanger gauge to straighten things out and get the gears feeling smooth and shifting well, clear lack of quality control there. Original tires are most certainly not for use off-road, especially in UK conditions, terrible grip. I decided to put a new budget rockshox airspring fork on the front that I found for £120 which makes it capable of getting around fields and woodland quite nicely. Decent value for money considering the price of e-bikes in general, but be prepared to make a few upgrades/repairs.
Was on on mine for the first time today, the 3-4 second delay in the battery kicking in was annoying. Also, if you stop pedalling then the power cuts off and you need wait another 3-4 seconds. Fairly annoying if you're on a hilly ride and / or riding with other people
@@asuravoid Yes, everything still works fine, ive been mainly using it to get to work 5 days a week. The only things that are bothering me a bit is that the engine takes some time to kick in when you start to pedal initially and in the real world the battery lasts only about 25 - 30 km. Other than that im really happy with the purchase.

Was the S866 display a straight swap? I.e. remove the existing LED 790 display and plug in the LCD S866. Did it work OK?
@@jeremyupton850 no probleme just buy display 6 pin connector
The 6 km/h Button is the "walk" mode I believe, when you want aid in pushing the bike.
the throttle isnt actually illegal, as long as it tops out at 3.6 or so MPH
Now that you have had this bike a while, have you had any issues with it? Every review of it has been really good but also not older than 2 months.

how to install throttle in this bike
Hi just wondering if you would like to sell your throttles if so would you mail it to Germany and do you take PayPal?
Be careful, I guess that the breaks are not adjusted, that tsss sound could come from the pads touching the disk 😅
It's not illegal at all if the e bike has paddle so just say because of your short journey you don't need the throttle.
