Would you say single leg rdls are better than regular rdls if you dont have access to very heavy weights?
Yeah definitely, just learn proper form and you’ll be right.

Great exercise, but your advice to rotate the knee out concerns me as the knee is designed to flex only not rotate.

are there limit on how long to hold when reaching the glute or you just hit it and then get back to repeat again?
I like to pause and then hit a new rep. There is value in a slight pause and an extended pause.
are single leg RDL's for hammies or glute?
Both need to work together to make this an effective exercise.
