- This is my 2010 CTS wagon that was originally a V6 car. It’s been LS swapped, all features work including the factory gauges and ice cold a/c. This has been a fun build to say the least! Stay tune for more updates and builds!

Just 6.0 swapped my coupe, lowered on BC Racing, still on stock wheels. I’m saving for the base wagon too cause yours go crazy. I gotta get a rear end for my coupe though, but it’s running pretty good right now
What did the total swap end up costing you? I have been told it ends up being more expensive then purchasing the coupe with 6.0
@@desmonscollins5582 it be costing a lot when you get all the expensive parts for it. He did a full LSA swap, but I got a 6.0 truck motor with no blower. I rebuilt the motor myself but I bought upgraded parts for it and made some money back on the older parts. For the motor plus the parts for the rebuild probably costed me $3000 and I rebuilt the trans from somebody else for $1000 and I bought the trans for $400 so we can call that $1400+3000 then the wiring harness I got is a Holley LS swap kit, so it’s expensive, but you can get the stand alone harness plus the Hp tuners software for cheaper. I paid 1600 for the harness kit so we’re at $4400+1600. The rest of the stuff to get the car running like the pulleys and radiators and driveshaft and stuff like that all together was about 2000 more for me so I paid roughly $8000 for my swap and honestly I waited till last tax season of 2022 to do it, so out of my pocket I only paid bout $3000 and I used my taxes to cover the rest of the swap lol. I just bought the wagon this tax season, so it might be swapped next tax season, Lmaoo, so you get my drift
@@SimbaBeezFNim doing the same to my wagon, a shop quoted me 14k to do an ls3 emgime amd trans swap with cam and headers on it, i didnt think it was that bad. No blower ofcourse but its still decent power

Great content , I was told I couldn't swap my CTS 4 to a LS and if I did it would be too much money. Your video gave direction on what I want to do, thank you from San Antonio.

To keep awd yes it will be expensive, swap and rwd shouldn't be anymore much then just replacing the bad v6 motor. They came with LS from factory so your not modding anything. You can just buy a salvage camaro hit in the rear and just swap everything.
Can you do this with a CTs 2.0.

Hey sick build! I saw your previous vid with wiring it up. It looked plug and play with that harness, did you do any wiring work prior? Or what harness did you use?
Damn looks very nice and sounds amazing. Awesome build, have a cts making a little lower end noise and wanted to do this but not sure how much it takes to get it done money wise lol. For now I’ll keep the ls swapped s10 maybe I’ll LSA it in the near future.

Do the gauges work ?
Everything, even the a/c. The only error message I have is that it doesn’t see the stabilitrak (MagRide sensors) but I could add them if I wanted. It’s only 4 sensors and a module that goes in the rear. But I don’t want to do those, it rides good enough without it.
