I have one of these, of a different brand, and mine has worked great for 12 years. It also only cost me about $25 at WalMart, and it includes a 24 oz coffee/tea maker. Hands down one of the best appliances I've ever had! I even travel with it to use in hotel rooms! Mine has a 15-minute timer. The trick to making the best use of it is to start the foods in stages. For example, get the griddle and toaster warming, then put the griddle food on, then when it's about halfway cooked put the bread in the oven and start brewing the coffee/tea. That's how everything turns out at the same time. My usual breakfast was to grill some fresh spinach and three or four Little Smokie sausages, then one or two eggs and toast half a bagel and brew a pot of coffee. Sadly, the brewer, after 12 years, is starting to lose some heat, so I recently bought another breakfast station by another brand that is still very compact, but has a griddle and oven that are both twice the size, and I can only hope it does as well!
That's where my nope factor ended (it began at getting a one-trick pony item like this in the first place). 10 minutes for ONE slice of toast is ridiculous. You can buy a hotplate or something similar and use a pan that can cook more than just breakfast.
That's not really a problem (you can set stuff up, go take a shower and then it's done when you're out), but there's 100 other appliances that can cook a whole breakfast that do more than just breakfast. 45 dollars is a lot, for just a littler more you could get a cheaper model instant pot and just use the saute function for the toast and be able to cook a ton of other stuff too.
These things always confuse me..I get it if you don't have a stove... Kind of... But I'd just buy an induction cooker and a pan and make it that way. Before people say what about toast, I do my toast in there sometimes too, like a grilled cheese without the cheese 😁
Multi-items like this always perform multiple tasks poorly. A lot of places that would rent you a room with no kitchen absolutely forbid things like induction cookers or electric griddles. I like just making it all in one big pan. No toaster needed. 1. Put a little butter on both sides of the English muffin and put it butter side downn on the pan. 2. Cook up your egg and bacon in the same plan, just lay a piece of cheese on top of the egg if you want 3. Flip that steamy mother of an English muffin over and put everything inside. I'm surprised how well that thing did. Seriously, it looks like a 1950s Easy Bake _Breakfast_ Oven. But it performed well. For a single guy with limited cooking skills and limited counter-top space, could be worth getting one of those.
I use a big cast iron skillet that does the same thing egg on one side some bacon sausage and the other little corner and some toast tasting on other corner.... it's funny when people try to keep reinventing wheels they're ridiculous
The toaster seems like the worst part of it, a cheap toaster works just fine and you get your two slices. Having to flip your meat half way through also seems to remove a lot of that free time you would get from not standing around to cook, like, what are you going to do with those two minutes?
I'm curious if this could be run off a solar power battery bank, how much energy does two cycles consume? That would be the defining factor for camping with it. Personally I doubt it could run straight off a solar panel...
The Hamilton Beach one works great, and it puts it all together for you. Bagels may be too big for it, but it’s perfect for English muffins. It’s great for a single dad like me.
When a 'bread' item is really moist, which most e-muffins are, it takes twice as long to toast. Personally I would put the one of the muffin sides up above and instead do back bacon on top of the egg, then flip halfway through. However, having said that, a 'single use' type appliance is just wasted energy. Even in a dorm or RV a Ninja foodie would be a lot more versatile... but that's just my opinion.😜
I don't have one of those but I do have a 3 in 1 breakfast maker it has a griddle a coffee pot and a toaster oven I love it it perfect for 1 or 2 people I bought it threw the mail from montgomery wards
I'd rather just use a frying pan that I can wash in the sink or toss in the dishwasher. I love Farmer John's, I could have eaten that whole 10 pack in one sitting. 🙂
Agreed, and if you don't have a stove for whatever reason, an electric skillet for about $40 with a lid, and temp control works just as well, and is far more versatile.
i often eat at midnight in my room, while my family sleeps cuz im in college and don't eat during the day since it makes me tired. I often want to cook some stuff but don't want to be super loud and have to wash dishes or be in the kitchen for long. this seems like you can probably use it for many other things as well, like sometimes i make grilled cheeses in advance and wrap them for later. this can be a great way to heat them up again while making it toasted still, since i usually just microwave them. also im thinking you can heat up like a cheese sauce and have hot cheese to dip with noodles or nachos

I'm surprised how well that thing did. Seriously, it looks like a 1950s Easy Bake _Breakfast_ Oven. But it performed well. For a single guy with limited cooking skills and limited counter-top space, could be worth getting one of those.
“Let’s taste the toast…. It’s toast “ 😂😂😂😂
I like this thing with the built in filter coffee machine. It's slightly bigger but it incorporates all necessary machinery for a decent breakfast.
Certainly not for a home but yeah, I could see it in a dorm room or something like that.
I would've loved something like this back in college living in a dorm room.
These all in ones never live up to the hype, a pain to use and clean
Agreed, for the money I'd rather just get a decent electric skillet with a lid, and temp control that can be used for far more things.
Dry toast and pancakes, you're committed for sure. Thanks for the content.
Using the “Farmer John “ brand made me smile, I have not seen that brand since I moved to Nebraska
I use a big cast iron skillet that does the same thing egg on one side some bacon sausage and the other little corner and some toast tasting on other corner.... it's funny when people try to keep reinventing wheels they're ridiculous
So many gadgets, that the British don't want, need or could afford! :)
Nothing I would purchase it for but as always I appreciate the review. 🤗🤗✅✅
English muffins need twice toasted in a regular toaster.
The small size seems to be an American complaint based on what I've seen. Interesting. Seems like a decent sized breakfast.
We are giant pigs
It's _almost_ there... If you were camping out in some weird situation where you had electrical power, but not much else, it could be pretty cool.
This thing is $50. So unless you don't have the space a toaster and pans would cook more food at once and do a better job in my opinion
Only one pan and a toaster. Cook the sausage or bacon and use its grease to cook the eggs.
The toaster seems like the worst part of it, a cheap toaster works just fine and you get your two slices. Having to flip your meat half way through also seems to remove a lot of that free time you would get from not standing around to cook, like, what are you going to do with those two minutes?
@@MasterMayhem78 Yep. Agreed
Honestly this piece of junk is a space waster, not a space saver. Would be much better off filling that space with a hotplate or a regular toaster.
@@BriBCG agreed. Most people have pans and toasters already so this in 100% unnecessary
I'm curious if this could be run off a solar power battery bank, how much energy does two cycles consume? That would be the defining factor for camping with it. Personally I doubt it could run straight off a solar panel...
That's not for a camper or dorm. That's an Easy-Bake oven
08:51 Wait a minute. That toast already had a bite in it. SCAM
Thank you GREEN LIFE for saving the Earth with your breakfast maker!
I would use Canadian bacon like McDonald’s. Less cooking than regular bacon.
The Hamilton Beach one works great, and it puts it all together for you. Bagels may be too big for it, but it’s perfect for English muffins. It’s great for a single dad like me.
What is this? A breakfast maker for ants?
More like it's for Barbie and Ken, maybe the rest of Andy's toys, plus Sid's hybrid toys.
Slick move there with the toast 🤣
I don't have one of those but I do have a 3 in 1 breakfast maker it has a griddle a coffee pot and a toaster oven I love it it perfect for 1 or 2 people I bought it threw the mail from montgomery wards
You need a "We shall see" shirt!
Sorta wish you would have powered it with one of your solar generators, see how much juice you had left after 3 or so stabs at making breakfast.
i often eat at midnight in my room, while my family sleeps cuz im in college and don't eat during the day since it makes me tired. I often want to cook some stuff but don't want to be super loud and have to wash dishes or be in the kitchen for long. this seems like you can probably use it for many other things as well, like sometimes i make grilled cheeses in advance and wrap them for later. this can be a great way to heat them up again while making it toasted still, since i usually just microwave them. also im thinking you can heat up like a cheese sauce and have hot cheese to dip with noodles or nachos
not cooked that much because the lid was lifted several times, and the heat escaped
Great job!
On another note I keep seeing bulbhead commercials saying “we may stop production” because of supply shortages but then they keep playing the same commercials all day n night.
Just fyi, don’t be fooled by them clowns. 😮
Thanks for the video!!!
You've spent years testing products and you don't have a set of tongs that aren't metal?
IDK, That should be like $15 or $20.
I just got one and regularly eat small breakfasts, so it will work for me.
I’d rather get a dozen egg McMuffins than this device.
