I agree with the gold backing or inking the edges of the sentiment shape, either embossed in gold or the green to make it pop. (Replay warrior)

Another demo uses transparent post-it notes to hide the glare from her lights on the glass mat or you could cover the glare with vellum or just put a sheet of grid paper over while filming. Your card is beautiful!!
