very nice video! btw, you should ALWAYS mount your headlights on to the car before you close them, because in most cases, rotation will be a bit off, so it's better to align it properly before you seal it, rather than opening it again and again...
thank yo to you for your very interesting tuto ,can you tel me how long it is necessary to leave the light in the box whith the thermal so that the glue is easily removed . thanks again bro'.
Thanks! In general, 2 methods are used, with both methods, be careful and patient. Method 1 is using a regular oven. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. When ready, switch off the oven and place the headlight inside. Make sure that the headlight is not touching any metal of the oven by placing a cloth over the grid, for example. Leave the headlight in the oven for 10-15 minutes before opening it. If the headlight kit is not yet soft enough, put the headlight in the oven for a bit more time. Method 2 is suitable for larger headlights that do not fit in a regular oven, or if your lovely wife absolutely does not allow car parts to be baked in her kitchen. A large cardboard box is used where hot air is blown through a heatgun. Make sure that the hot air of the heatgun does not blow directly to the headlight, place the headlight on small elevations so that the air can circulate properly through the box. We use a setting of 300 Degrees Celsius for 12-18 minutes / 1st lowest setting, depending on the size of the headlight.
For the final product, its just the bi xenon bulb inside the housing? Are the other two reflector bulbs taken out because the bixenon functions as a high and low beam? Sorry if this is a silly question, its not an answer I could find explicitly stated anywhere.
Hy! Nice jobs! Congrat! I have a question! I have maked my golf mk4 headlight with the same projectors and i haven't became the cable to attach the highbeam with the projectors cable! Do you have maked ever golf mk4 headlight?
That's a fantastic job you have done, I think there might be a better way to heat the light units rather than a cardboard box and heat gun but there is no doubt about the result!
Super!!! how is called a module installed in the spotlight? This module is not too heavy? do not break the mirror? Does this work after installation of an adjustable level range?

All you reply i will appreciate. thanks in advance.
Could you please help me send a picture of wiring? As you know that H1 hid is a single beam light source, which make me blind about high beam wire output
Hello, what about using the projector(lens) for a triple sided led bulb, would it create a good dispersion pattern? I am modding my alfa 147 headlights and would like to apply this technique to them. My main led are really bright.. It would be more for the aestethics.. Thank you for sharing this video
Using (most common ) LED bulbs in a projector will give a lot of dark spots in the beam pattern. 360 degree LED bulbs are the only 'suitable' solution.
Hey, voor hoelang zet je het heteluchtpistool aan en op welke temperatuur ongeveer? Ook de doos zeker een beetje open laten zodat het niet te warm wordt? Alvast bedankt!
ok lets say I buy these projectors. i own a 240sx with an h6054 h4 conversion, since the description on the website says it comes with h4 adapters that means they would fit right?
I did put h1 halogen bulb in the projector and it did not improve much from reflector one. And halogen bulb burned one of my projectors plastic that holds lens too.. Maybe it is not made for halogen bulbs since they produce a lot of heat..?
Correct, the projectors are made for HID xenon bulbs. That's why there is also no ground/- connection on the projector like normal and needed on an H1 halogen bulb base.
Hi! I retrofited the same kit on a Skoda Octavia 2 2008 and the projector beam is set too low even with the electric height adjustment set to maximum up. How can i fix this? The manual height adjustment in the headlight doesn.t work. Thank you!
The Alfa lights must be one of the worst IMO, so this will be a perfect upgrade for the 156. But will you be able to pass inspection with a replaced low beam from reflector to projector even though you only got a std halogen H1 bulb ?
Yes, light output will improve a lot. It depends a bit on your country and inspector. Normally it is no problem with a halogen bulb, because the light pattern is perfect and not blinding for oncoming traffic.

Hello, As I was looking for ways to retrofit my 147's headlights I found your video. And I have a few questions 1. Do you think retrofitted headlights are gonna pass the tests and won't be suspicious to the police in Czech Republic? 2. Can I put the bixenon there where high beam light is mounted? Or even have 2 bixenons installed in one headlight? 3. I can put the angel eyes inside to use as drl, right? Thanks Nice video!

***** wow, I have not heard about such a way to heat the headlights. It is good to learn it because I am afraid of melting them :) I am driving a 147 and planning to do the same modification in following month by watching your video. Again, thank you very much! :)

Would this kit fit inside the round part of the headlight? I'm planning to order one, but I'm not sure. It's the part where is the high-beam by factory default.
