It does my heart good to hear someone give such simple understandings to such stressful questions to so many people... People often ask, who is God and where is He... How can I know He is True...? This answer is just as simple. Only two persons can give you this answer... The Father and you...! It's all in the writings, just listen, and you will hear them speak to you...! God Bless

I'm an athiest, and I found this very fascinating. Particularly the bible stating things that we could not have known at the time, such as uncountable stars, and the earth "hanging in space". very interesting. I would love to hear about more ideas like this!

    • @simonchesney3911
      @simonchesney3911 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@Polo Loco That's what I want to know! I am a skeptical person, and i don't take any of the ideas i mentioned very seriously because it would be impossible to prove that people of the time had a certain worldview. therefore we can't conclude that the bible is divine word on this basis. It just happens to be the closest anyone has ever come to arguing for the bible's legitimacy in a remotely convincing way (again, not convinced). I want to be convinced though, and maybe there are some other ideas in the bible that people were unlikely to think of by themselves. i bet there are a couple of doozy's in there. Ultimately I don't think I will be convinced, but I find it very interesting

@Zane Thunder You'd have a look at the Hebrew word for winged birds/fowl and you'd find out that "winged" is stressed, and flying.
By the way, instead of using a 2000 year old book, as you suggest, althoug it is much older, 'cause Moses wrote after leaving Egypt with his people in 1606 BC and before he died in 1566 BC, you can easily believe a 6000 year old lie as everyone does who is not believing in Jesus Christ as his saviour and Lord. It's up to you 😉

@@slfudct None has eternal life as an earning. Anyone that has eternal life, got it as a gift.
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Faith without works/good deeds shows that this faith is dead because works/good deeds "naturally" follow faith.
The Lord Jesus explained to Nicodemus how you get saved and have eternal life in John 3:14f.
Think of anyone being bitten by a fiery serpent and being very kind to his neighbour giving him a drink and reciting a heartwarming poem before his neighbour dies unwilling to look at the bronze serpent.
They both had spoken against God and Moses and were fed up with this worthless bread (as they called manna) , they had even said to Moses: "We have sinned for we have spoken against the Lord and against you" because everyone said so.
Well, now his neighbour is dead and he closes his eyelids and comforts his kids but he does not look at the bronze serpent why should he, he is such a kind person caring for others with a heart full of love.
Not necessary to say that he died soon afterwards, is it?

The bible has over 1400 copies and the recent copy from the original text was made 5 years after the original. It is through the copies we can compare the word of GOD. I recommend you looking into the dead sea scrolls.

@HOOKaFISH I actually read that one and I'm referring to theno fact that thousands of translations have been made not just by a direct translations from Hebrew to Latin but from Hebrew to Greek and then Greek to Latin. It's a whole mess of info, and although they SAY that we have pretty accurate translations today, we still have no way of guaranteeing that those who claim that to be true aren't in on the false prophecies or that even the direct translations wouldn't actually even work due to the fact that English is the farthest language from Hebrew making a lot of metaphors confusing or misleading. In fact we have so many Americans that read the Bible as being literal in so many stories and then believe them to be absolutely true no matter how ridiculous because God said so or believe the Bible to be all lies because of how ridiculous it sounds without ever actually understanding the philosophy behind it.

@@WhoToldYouThis By comparing the copies we can see what words are used whether it is Greek translation Hebrew, Aramaic etc. Also revision of the scriptures or context left out by going back to the oldest of the oldest copies. The KJV was a copy made in 1611 from the Bishops Bible copy of 1568. English and modern language has changed since 100 A.D and that is why the Bible has been revised into modern English versions (NASB, ASV etc.). The ancient scrolls have been found are are in safe keepings in modern day museums. For more information read your Bibles preface it located before Genesis. also read 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and 2nd Peter 1:19-21.

Here’s the thing. The KJV Bible is the only one that is not copyrighted. Every other Bible was written to make somebody rich. Also, if the NIV Bible, for example, was the word of God, why would God wait for so long to reveal his word to us? The KJV Bible is God’s word for English speaking people.
In Acts 16:6, God commanded Paul to take the gospel to English speaking people. God has ordained and chosen English-speaking people in a similar way in which he ordained and chose the Jewish people. Since English-speaking people are chosen by God, logic proves that the KJV Bible is the only in errant word of God. God would not leave his people in the dark for 2000 years. It simply doesn’t add up. God gave English-speaking people the KJV Bible. That is his word. Nothing else is his word.
In the garden of Eden, Satan took the word of God and corrupted it. That is how he attacks Christians and nonbelievers alike. He takes what God says and summarize it, and in summarizing it he corrupts what God said. How then, knowing this, can a Christian accept any summarized version of the KJV Bible?
Here’s the bottom line: the KJV Bible is the Word of God. Nothing else is the Word of God.

Manuscripts. Monks had a tradition of transcripting into papyruses the different scriptures like gospels and epistles because papyruses degrade with time. Manuscripts have been found from different ages (like 5500 different manuscripts for the new testament) and they compared each other to check for differences. There's a 99% accuracy in texts only few word differences and mispelling were made. Also the original gospels are estimated to be from around the first century before the resurrection (30~ AC) being Mark the earliest (50-60~ AC) and John the latest (100~ AC).

@Yasmín MFabricio Bible means "books" in Greek and it's a collection of different books from a range of 1500 years, these books were written by different prophets and apostles were collected into an unique book "The Bible", the most sold book in all history and also a life guidance for a lot of people. There's only one bible but there are many translation to the bible. Translations are difficult to make because there are words and expressions that can't be translated from the original language to the target language (in this case English) and translators have to work around these problems and it may change slightly the meaning. The most recommendable thing to do is having at least 2 translations and the verses that you can't understand clearly, you can look at the other translation if it's better explained.
Since I'm a Spanish native speaker, I have "Palabra de Dios para Todos" (PDT) as the main translation, for me it's easier and it doesn't make the reading hard, and I have as a backup, "Reina Valera 1960" (RVR1960), which is an older translation and a bit harder but sometimes can help if I don't understand the other one. For english speakers, you have the most known translation King James Version (KJV), this is an old one and for instance a harder one, and the New International Version NIV, which is a newer and a easier one. I personally use the four ones when I research in Internet and the two first ones for home and the church I attend.

Since we are spiritual beings, it only makes logical sense that the Creator would communicate with us in Spirit, rather than in a physical way, that would put a human before Him. The book is written by man, decided what should and not be in the book by man, and interpreted by man. I'll just look and listen within and at this point of my life, I am free from the bondage of religion and at total peace within my being.

      ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭
„“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.“

„I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.“
      ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭36:26-27‬ ‭
„Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”“

The only documents that can be correctly called "The word of God" are from occasions when God, Jesus, or the Apostles actually sat down with a scribe and dictated what they wanted set down for posterity or someone took their pocket recorder along to a meeting where the Holy Spirit was speaking. Any thing else can only be referred to as: "The word of God according to human interpretation." There is great value of The Letters contained in the New Testament - which actually provide first person accounts of what their authors had been told by Spirits Sent by God.

The belief that the Bible is the word of God varies among different religious traditions and individuals. For many Christians, the Bible is considered sacred and believed to contain divinely inspired teachings and messages. Others may interpret the Bible as a collection of historical and cultural writings. The perception of the Bible's divine origin is a matter of personal faith and theological interpretation.

    • @martinkuliza
      @martinkuliza ปีที่แล้ว

      NO, NOT REALLY.
the bible DEFINITIVELY is NOT the word of god.
it's not a matter of interpretation.
and this is really easy to resolve as well, Unlike most biblical debates which are complicated and subject to debate and personal opinion.... and can last for decades without a clear answer.. This one absolutely is not.
This is very black and white . Nothing to get confused over.
The only thing that can go wrong here is this.....
      When presented with this
      1. The christians MAKES A FEW ASSUMPTIONS
      2. These Assumptions are incorrect but the christian is not aware of it
      3. The christian see's this information as being a threat to their belief
      4. As a result THEY IGNORE IT AND PRETEND IT'S FALSE
But it's not false... it's impossible to be false
HERE IS WHAT YOU DO TO FIND OUT IF THE BIBLE IS GOD'S WORD OR NOT.
let's ask a question : If you bought a car that had a badge saying "Toyota Corolla"
and someone told you "that's not a Toyota Corolla" and they ran through a few features of teh car, the lights are wrong, it doesn't come with this or that option etc etc
HOW WOULD YOU ABSOLUTELY AND CONCLUSIVELY TELL IF IT WAS A TOYOTA COROLLA OR NOT ?
ANSWER : you could debate it, but if no one is willing to come to a civil conclusion, YOU GET A RULING FROM THE COMPANY THAT MADE THE CAR.
      Obviously you ask questions like
"Hi Toyota, is this car your car ?"
They would then ask you some challenge questions , logically, for say a
      V.I.N. (Vehicle Identification Number)
Now.. Your Vehicle MUST have this number, if it doesn't, it conclisively IS NOT a Genuine Toyota Corolla Because Toyota states that EVERY car they make has one.
so.. You give them the V.I.N. and they tell you , Yes or NO
AND.. IF IT COMES BACK "YES"
the other person who said it isn't.... ABSOLUTELY CANNOT DEBATE THE POINT.
they can however choose to ignore the point and pretend it's wrong.
      BUT FACT IS FACT....
      BY THE SAME METHOD....
      1. We know that people are not going to come to a civil and unified agreement on
whether the bible is god's word or not
THEREFORE LET'S GO TO THE SOURCE THAT CREATED THE BIBLE
Here is how you approach this problem
      2. START WITH THE SIMPLEST QUESTION
so.. Questions like this are pointless
      - is the bible a lie
      - is the bible truth
      - is the bible real
      - is the bible historically accurate
      NONE OF THAT MATTERS
Before anything you want to establish
IS THE BIBLE THE WORD OF GOD
      After that, You can decide
      - if god lied
      - if god told the truth
      - if it's historically accurate
and of course the bible is real. that's a dumb question to ask.
NOW... You don't start with EVERY BIBLE,
You start with, YOUR OWN BIBLE
Since you are trying to prove this to yourself
      FOR WHAT PURPOSE ?
ANSWER : To establish if YOU PERSONALLY are reading and following a false word.
      - Once you establish that, you can look at other bibles
      3. SO YOU ESTABLISH THE VERSION OF BIBLE THAT YOU HAVE
      4. YOU CALL THE ONE THAT CREATED THE BIBLE
Google "Who has the publishing rights to (Insert your bible version here)"
      5. Once you find out the names of the companies that publish your bible.
      FIND THEIR PHONE NUMBER
thankfully there will be like only 3 - 5 of them
chances are.. if you call the one in your country it will likely be the correct one
      6. THEN YOU ASK THEM DIRECTLY as follows
"Question 1 - I have a bible here and i want to know if this is a bible that you created and printed"
they will get you to describe the bible or give them the ISDN.
it's pretty clear by the cover which one is their one as they don't copy from each other
After they say , yes thats' one of ours
QUESTION 2 : "I'd like to know something, i'm going to ask you a direct and honest question and i'd like an honest answer...... IS THIS BIBLE OF YOURS THE ACTUAL AND LITERAL WORD OF GOD ?"
The answer you will receive will be ....
"No it's not" sometimes they say this
"Not it's not literally the word of god, However it is the inspired word of god"
to which you ask for clarification like this..
QUESTION 3 "OK. so.. INSPIRED BY WHO ? so.. When you were writing the bible, was god there to tell you what to write, or... did he speak to your prior to writing and gave you inspiration , Where di you derive your inspiration from "
The answer is something like this
"No, god was not there personally speaking to us, We take inspiration from other bibles, so the way that we put our book together is we go through a collection of other bibles and we decide what we deem to be appropriate for our bible and our readers, our bible is a collection of multiple biblical sources, primarily other bibles"
QUESTION 4 - "Ok, so are any of of these other bibles, the actual and literal word of god"
ANSWER : "No they are not"
QUESTION 5 : "OK, so.. Other than Translations and the appearance of the cover, Since your first bible that you released, have you ever changed or edited your bible, or released further versions after the first"
then answer is something like this
"Yes we have, although we reserve the right to alter the bible without any notification as we hold the rights to the bible" (they will actually state, THE VERSION they hold the rights to) Because it's a legal requirement to no misrepresent and conflict with other publishers
SO THAT'S HOW YOU FIND OUT
AND THERE IS YOUR ANSWER CONCLUSIVELY
      - they created it
      - God's word never entered the equation at any point
      - If there ever was an original word (which there wasn't) it has now been changed
      - they have put their book together from many other bibles BASED ON WHAT CHRISTIANS WANT TO HEAR AND WHAT SELLS
      - They have then changed and altered it as they see fit to sell more bibles
      SO.... ABSOLUTELY AND CONCLUSIVELY
THE BIBLE IS NOT THE WORD OF GOD
      therefore,
      You Now can debate
      - is the bible a lie (But it doesn't matter, Even if you find it to be true, it's not gods' word)
      - is it historically accurate, it's not, But, even if you found it to be accurate. it's still not god's word
WHICHEVER WAY YOU LOOK AT THIS
      IT'S NOT GOD'S WORD
YOU AS A CHRISTIAN ARE THEREFORE READING A WORD THAT IS NOT GOD'S WORD.
      FOR ANYONE THAT NEEDS PROOF
      GO AHEAD.... CALL YOUR PUBLISHER
      I'm not making this up
I actually called all the publishers of the King James
then Most of the publishers of ALL of the other versions
to save you time.... They mostly say the same thing.
but you really need only be concerned with the bible you are reading
      BUT TRUTH IS....
WE DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE BIBLE THAT IS ACTUALLY GOD'S WORD
so now christians will reject this BASED ON AN ASSUMPTION
that being... They believe they are being led away from god
      NO... NOT AT ALL
YOU CAN STILL WORSHIP GOD AND PRAY TO HIM
YOU CAN STILL WORSHIP CHRIST AND PRAY TO HIM
      there's nothing wrong with that
JUST DON'T READ A WORD THAT IS NOT HIS WORD
      God is not a bible,
      The bible is a book
      they are 2 separate things
      Leave the bible
      Keep god and Jesus
But see.. that never occurs to them .
leaving the bible, does not mean you leave god.
it means you leave bullshit out of your relationship with god
it means YOU RESPECT GOD and don't follow a false word
As for the teachings of jesus
A CHRISTIAN SHOULD LOOK THESE UP HISTORICALLY, Not in the bible
and as for "so what do we do now ?"
YOU PRAY TO GOD AND ASK HIM WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO DO .
      Now will he answer ?
      I DON'T KNOW
I just said, You can continue to believe and pray to him and christ,
which is what you were doing anyway
THAT'S NOT HARD IS IT ?
BUT YEAH.... THE BIBLE ABSOLUTELY IS NOT GOD'S WORD
BECAUSE THE CREATOR OF IT SAYS SO
      IT'S NOT A DEBATE
      IT'S NOT AN OPINION
IT'S AN UNDISPUTABLE FACT THAT IS EASILY VERIFIED
if you disagree, You're wrong, Just like the Toyota Corolla

My first recollection of men suggesting that the Bible is God’s word was at the finalizing of the 1611 KJV, when Francis Bacon ascribed the authority of the KJV to King Iames, later to be known as King James, with the introduction of the J to our languages in 1524 and finally filtering down to the KJV some 87 years later! The earliest KJV has King Iames and his maeisty with no sign of a J! If King Iames (James) is ascribed that authority then it is clearly not the authority of God, who remains nameless throughout the entirety of the KJV!
Now don’t get me wrong, but every author I know of has his name added to the books he writes and get’s accredited by means of his name, but not so with the KJV, nor with the vast array of English translations, of which there are some 450 variants. No authors name leaves it wide open for anyone to claim what they will!
Now, would you not think that an almighty God could get it right first time and thus not require 450 different translations? Or are they who repeat the dogma that the Bible is the word of God really suggesting that God made so many mistakes?
Indeed, Yah did get it right in the original form, which Moshe put together as the words were dictated to him. This was the Towrah/Torah, not a Bible and then the Prophets and Psalms, but you don’t often hear this! Indeed, few if any really consider the Hebrew as the origin of the words, yet this is the most important to understand, because even the Bible would not exist without the original Towrah/Torah and that means if Yah had not required Moshe’s hand to write it, there would be no Bible!
Bible, Bible Bible is all you hear today! The very God who had his word written down by Moshe has a name and that name that you should know is Yahowah/Yahweh enunciated in different ways of speech, but not “Lord”!
Yet you hardly ever find “The Name of Yah” in any Bible. Don’t you think He knows His own name and would include it if it were is work? Do you think he would forget to add His name so you cannot call upon Him? All you find as the denoted author in the vast preponderance of Bibles is “Lord” so the lord must be the author, but that is not Yah!
In fact King James was lauded as the author, despite the fact he gave Bacon the responsibility for the pigs ear of a translation attempt!
The fact that can be proven is the Yah always communicated in the Hebrew language and never in English, Latin or Greek! So, If you really want the truth, original Hebrew is a must! Yet even the Hebrew language has gone through 4 major changes over the duration of time and there have been corrupt words added, changed and deletions have occurred!
The modern Hebrew uses diacritical markings to denote the word sounds as deliberated by men! So if men have had their hand in the corruption, then this is the Bible Babble of men who remain in Babylon!
Cognitive dissonance won’t work here, you cannot claim that the bible is the word of God, because it has been so corrupted by men as to only be the work of errant men with an agenda of mind control, by means of changed and corrupted words!
By means of proof, take “Holy” as an example, a Roman Catholic corruption of what was Qodesh, to be set apart, a cleansing exercise that both Yah can do for you and you can do for yourself by means of moving away and setting yourself apart from the lies and corruptions of the religious! Now, crowd pressure will likely make you think otherwise, so you will need to investigate for yourself, assuming truth is what you seek!
So whilst it’s difficult to understand how you can make yourself “Holy” it’s easy to understand how you can Qodesh - set yourself apart by seeking the truth, which few people can do because their minds are already pre programmed with a narrative of lies, which they accept! This is a cleansing exercise in many ways, but in this case it is cleaning up the lies and throwing them out, which you can do yourself
How about the J, what can you see in scripture with J? How can that be correct if it was not in existence at that time? Truth is it cannot be correct, since the J has only been in existence for less than 500 years at this time of writing in the year of 2022! Even then it was not widely used until the 1600’s, some 400 plus years ago as witnessed by the KJV change!
This must have the effect of making you start to think, have you been told the truth? If you can find just one wrong letter or word, then you are obligated to question further and investigate for yourself if you really desire truth!
If you are only going to accept man’s narrative, you will surely come across many errors! Don’t even accept my word for it, check it out for yourself and do your due diligence

And most of them were martyred and didn't retract any of the words they said and there's some historical proof of it, this can make you think that they thought that they were saying the truth, that Jesus was raised from the dead, when they were being killed since nobody dies for a lie .

The "differing" beliefs that you mention, were foretold to occur. Acts 20:29,30.
From that verse, knowing that true Christianity included the responsibility to share their beliefs with others, it's obvious that powerful men infiltrated the then existing congregations and influenced people into accepting a different "watered down" version, with virtually no resistance. 2nd Tim.4:3,4
It began with the establishment of the RCC. Then it spread to the Orthodox church and later, Protestantism.

I was on the fence big time here . I live my life how I believe God wants me to , the very best I can . I’ve had many questions about the Bible , this video unfortunately has reaffirmed my initial idea that it written by man, and even though their intentions may have been pure for 95% of the Bible , man can not help himself . Why would God tell I think Moses that he should be able to loan money out but never borrow himself ? And this will lead him to the top?!? Do you not realize what that single statement has lead to on earth?! The world banking system. The most evil, enslaving system in the history of man. It makes me now really think about the world renown biblical translator Mario (can’t remember last name) who says that in the ORIGINAL text and language of the Bible , never , not once was God meant to be singular , the authors reference GODS plural even God himself says to the Jewish people you should have no other Gods before me . I am YOUR GOD.
God kept his promise to the Jews or atleast some of them, that’s for damn sure . The ones at the top of the banking system have been there since the first Jew started borrowing money to the Roman Emperor and other Rulers across the world. Did you know it was illegal for Romans to loan $$, and it was illegal for Christians to loan money , personal or in a business sense. But yet in the Bible God literally says if you loan out $ and never borrow you will come out on top?!?

For example, in John 10:30, Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.” The Jews who heard Him make that statement knew well that He was claiming to be God, as witnessed by their reaction: “His Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him” (John 10:31). When He asked them why they were attempting to stone Him, they said, “For blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33).
Jesus made another statement claiming to be God when He said, “Very truly I tell you, . . . before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58).

    • @ripcord8738
      @ripcord8738 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn't.
Crosspaint is quoting John 10:30 literally, as trinitarians usually do.
When Jesus said that "I and the father are one", he was referring to their unity, not that they were two people joined together.
At John 17:21-23, Jesus used the same terminology, in his prayer, to highlight the same unity(oneness) for his disciples.
He also did the same at Matt.19:5,6 to illustrate the "oneness" in a marriage.

For example: Old Testament predict Jesus.
On New Testament Jesus predicts destruction of Israel's second temple.
And accurate historicity, some confirmed by archeological evidence.
God wanted His word in book, because it's written text and is far better than oral tradition that is keen to change along the years.
Old Testament books were originally written in Hebrew and Aramaic and New Testament books were written in Koine Greek. With good translators Gods word was translated to multiple languages, so God speaks all languages.
Bible books, were written originally on stone tablets, wooden tablets, clay tablets, papyrus,
leather of animals, and lastly on paper.

I understand that there might be people who believe that… but unfortunately, it’s not what the Bible teaches. God created the Lake of fire for the devil and his angels. However, the devil has, since the dawn of creation, worked extensively to take others with him. Already in the garden of Eden he came and tempted man… and succeeded.
Sin entered into the world and with it condemnation. We are born with a sin nature, but God, through grace, has restored a way back to Him, but now it’s by choice, and not by default.

Do I believe the bible? Which bible, as there are many that say many different things from one another. Even from among the ancient texts there are great variations between them.
Furthermore, there are many differing interpretations of what each verse has to say. Whose interpretation of the bible am I supposed to adhere to?
So I ask you, Is the bible the highest authority?
    You would likely say Yes.
I say NO because people can make the bible say whatever they want it to say.
However if you understand the bible from the original intent, you then have something special and true.
The Bible does not say that it is the highest authority, but it does say that the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus is the highest authority that will lead us into all truth.
If you do not have the Spirit of Christ within you, you have nothing, even if you have a bible.
The bible is a roadmap to Christ written by men that knew him personally. Their intent to write was to guide others to know him personally for themselves.
The bible is a map to God, but you still need to get on the highway and take the journey.

    • @crosspaint
      @crosspaint  ปีที่แล้ว

Though partially true, there is some trouble with what you claim here. We will agree that the Holy Spirit is needed to understand the truth, but it’s to understand the truth written in the Bible itself. The Holy Spirit works in harmony with the Word of God to lead individuals into a deeper understanding of God's truth. The Bible itself makes claims about its authority. For example, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 states, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." This verse highlights the divine inspiration and usefulness of Scripture in guiding believers.
Now, it is true that there are various interpretations of the Bible, which can lead to confusion and differing perspectives among believers. But is the Bible to blame for that, and is it enough to question its original intent? Does this not rather underline the point that people without the Spirit are trying to lay out what “it really means”?
It is worthy to point out (and even essential to recognize) that the diversity in translations does not negate the Bible's overall authority. Essential teachings remain consistent across the vast majority of biblical texts. That’s just a fact.
The analogy of the Bible being a roadmap to Christ and the journey being a personal relationship with God is a valid perspective. The Bible indeed points to Christ and reveals the path to salvation and spiritual growth. However, it is through the Bible that we learn about Jesus, His teachings, and His redemptive work. The Bible remains the source for knowing God and understanding His plan.
There is some very good material from gotquestions.org that address questions regarding biblical inerrancy.
Finally, and most importantly, I hope this is not taken as a provocation, rather that it may help you further in your walk here on earth, and may the "Lord will give you understanding in all things." (2 Timothy 2:7)

      @Daniel12.4Ministry ปีที่แล้ว

      @@crosspaint
Furthermore, if you are claiming that the bible is inerrant, isnt that a claim that the bible is God?
Certainly the bible is not inerrant and it can be easily seen that this is the case.
There are contradictions in the bible that make it clear that it is not inerrant:
      * Matthew's account of the genealogy of Jesus through Joseph differs greatly from that of Luke.
      * The names of the Apostles are different from Matthew to Luke as well
      * The story of the man in the cemetery of Gadarenes from one account to another as do many of the other parables and stories that are in the scriptures.
      * If the bible is inerrant, how can it directly quote from Jeremiah in Matthew 27, whereas the quote is actually from Zechariah? Is this not an error?
      * What about the thief on the cross? "THIS DAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE" But doesnot this contradict John's account when he stated in John 20:17 and John 16:16, when Jesus is quoted as saying, "DO NOT TOUCH ME< FOR I HAVE NOT YET ASCRNDED TO THE FATHER" and "In a short time you will not see me (the cross), but then in a short time you will see me again (the resurrection), then I will go unto my Father (the ascension).
Even Luke himself states the reason he wrote the book of Luke - and he does not say he wrote it because it was told by God to do so, but that he thought it was reasonable for him to do so because he had done much research and interviewed many people on the subject, and that he got his information from many that claimed to be witnesses - second and third hand information. Here is the quote:
      Luke 1:1-4
"1. Since many have taken it upon themselves to write an account concerning the matters of he (Christ) who lived and walked among us,
      2. just as it was offered (spoken) unto us by the eyewitnesses and servants that are living according to his instructions,
      3. it seemed good for me to also write, since I have investigated everything from the beginning so that I could write unto you, my noble friend Theophilus,
(This is evidence that the book of Luke was not dictated by nor inspired by God, but is the work of a man using his own logic, based upon his research.)
      4. so that you might know that which you have been taught is true. (Acts 20:29-31) "
Truth must be exposed in these final days leading up to the return of Christ concerning many things. This is my calling.
Much is lost in the scriptures due to translation and more is lost due to interpretation.
If we are to gain wisdom from the scriptures - they MUST be understood through the eyes of the original intent, because all else is corruption.
In writing and in language, one man has a thought he wants to convey to others, so it is put into words, whether spoken or written. If you do not receive the information that he intended to relate, you can not gain the wisdom of which he attempted to convey, but misunderstand and are led astray into error.
You referred me to a website called GOT QUESTIONS. Yes I am familiar with that website and the false information that they bring forth. They are a tool of Satan who are misleading many to be indoctrinated in the standard quo of modern christianity, of which is very different than the Christianity of 100 years ago, and extremely different than the Christianity of the late first century AD. My ministry is to expose the falsehood and bring truth to Light. I pray that you have a heart for truth and are completely honest with yourself before God, that my words might resignate with you to lead you to dig much deeper and challenge the ideology that you have been fed. Luke 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
Was Joseph the son of Jacob or Heli?
2 Kings 8:26 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem one year. His mothers name was Athaliah, a granddaughter of Omri king of Israel.
2 Chronicles 22:2 (KJV) Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.
Was Ahaziah 22 or 42 years old when he began to reign in Judah?
Jehoram was 32 years old when he became king and he reigned 8 years, so he was 40 when he died. Immediately Ahaziah takes over at the age of 42. How can a son be 2 years older than the father?
2 Samuel 24:9 Joab reported the number of the fighting men to the king: In Israel there were eight hundred thousand able-bodied men who could handle a sword, and in Judah five hundred thousand.
1 Chronicles 21:5 Joab reported the number of the fighting men to David: In all Israel there were one million one hundred thousand men who could handle a sword, including four hundred and seventy thousand in Judah.
Were there eight hundred thousand men in Israel and five hundred thousand in Judah or one million one hundred thousand men in Israel and four hundred and seventy thousand in Judah?
2 Samuel 6:23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
2 Samuel 21:8 But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:
Had Michal no child unto the day of her death or had five sons?
