It’s not Pierrot. Pierrot sucks. It’s the whole gang of animators and visual artists that barely sleep so they can give love to the series. Pierrot is just a building and the people who own it. Pierrot just gives a deadline, nothing else. This episode is an outlier and if anything, we should be thanking the people who animated the cuts and did the editing.

Outside of a few freelancers, most animators who worked on this episode are in-house veterans ( Hiroyuki Yamashita, Ken'ichi Fuzisawa, Hiromatsu Shuu... etc) also established ones such as ( Kana Ito, Chengxi Huang... etc) even the digital compositing were done by Pierrot's in-house photography team ( D.A.R). Pierrot's animators are some of the best in the entire industry, Yamashita, Kobayashi and Norio Matsumoto are considered legendary by everyone. Please, educate yourself on the subject before making more ignorant statements. Smh

Naruto is that tanky fighter and can act like an assassin at times but with Boruto's limitations like his chakra he is going to be like Minato and Sasuke. Hoping he gets more proficient with weapons like how Killer Bee does. Him that fast and Sasuke and Bee's swordsmanship will bring a lot more fight scenes rather than shadow clone and rasengans.

I’m so glad they put this much excellent animation into this episode. It is what really introduces us to Kawaki. And it is glorious, making quite the first impression of his combat abilities and temperament.
Everyone's talking about Boruto finally having good animation but honestly, the animation has always been great for fight scenes and the show in general. They just haven't been as intense battles as recent episodes to get the same hype.
True boruto is actually really consistent with its animation to be a weekly series and it’s been like that since it started the only ep were I like the anime did some weird animation is that ep urashki was teleporting weird looking in the time travel arc but this show is more consistent than people really think

I like that as well, makes him "different" than his father. Naruto is that tanky fighter and can act like an assassin at times but with Boruto's limitations like his chakra he is going to be like Minato and Sasuke. Hoping he gets more proficient with weapons like how Killer Bee does. Him that fast and Sasuke and Bee's swordsmanship will bring a lot more fight scenes rather than shadow clone and rasengans.

Everyone's talking about Boruto finally having good animation but honestly, the animation has always been great for fight scenes and the show in general. They just haven't been as intense battles as recent episodes to get the same hype.
True boruto is actually really consistent with its animation to be a weekly series and it’s been like that since it started the only ep were I like the anime did some weird animation is that ep urashki was teleporting weird looking in the time travel arc but this show is more consistent than people really think
