The moral is: no matter how beautiful they are, don't mess with princesses, let other men get them. Otherwise, the same thing will happen to you as to Dan when he tried to please the princess from the video, wasting his pocket money, wasting energy and nerves along the way (and you will lose more of the latter in real life, I’ll tell you this, those who read my comment). And fortunately Dan thought of giving the key to the Vendor for the second time.
I've been watching these in game, brilliantly funny, and the game is so freaking good. I do hope you guys extend the game.

The salesman might be hated for this but his help in the game forgives him.
I think because Dan saved the princess, he have to live with her so he can't process to the next scene. When Dan is on the helicopter, he already able to pass the locked scene because he don't have to live with her anymore so there is no point to stay back.

imagine this, you've been playing games at the arcade with your friends for a while now when a coin falls out of your hand and rolls under a door, you go into the room and find a weird arcade cabinet for a game you've never heard of. "Dan the Man" Is what it's called, you and your friends go in and boot it up and enter your nickname, you play stage 1 and get the girl but, nothing happens. So, you do as the princess asks hoping the stage will end as your friends look on in curiosity, you buy so much stuff! You and you friends don't even notice that it's about 8 o'clock, eventually men in suits steal your stuff and knock you out, you mash A&B like you did when cranking the platform to get up, it works! when you get up to your tree house your stuff is gone, and the princess is kissing the shop keep! "I'll kill him!" you yell as you burst out a flurry of combo's and the princess calls a chopper, you hop on and the princess knocks you off, but you landed on a jump pad! In the fight you kick the dog into the chopper's propeller and take it down and lose a life, you do the stage again perfectly, you don't run out of shuriken's and you're at 100% HP when you reach *her* you give the shop keep the key and go on to the next stage and go home."
