- If you are interested in finding out what Camp America is really like with details from my friend Hannah and I then watch this video about our experience on working the summer for Camp America as camp counsellors in two different camps in America and how each of us found the experience and what our tips are if you are planning on going on this adventure in the future. There are many things to consider when doing Camp America and things we wish we knew and had educated ourselves on but overall we had a great time and would recommend this experience to others.

Hi! first of all, nice video!! And I have a question, I’m thinking about some alternatives for summer and this is one of them. I’m italian so my english is not perfect and I kinda struggle sometimes to understand some words or sentences, do you know if is this a big problem?
Hey! No I wouldn’t think it would be as long as you have some basic English, just depends how you interview for the job but I would still think you’d have a good chance if you’ve had some experience and a fun personality x

hey! i was thinking of applying after finishing my A levels, so wouldn’t be able to fly out until after they’ve finished which would be later june time, would this effect me getting placed and being able to do camp america? xx
I’m not too sure as date vary depending on the camp, so best thing to do is check the camp America site on summer start and finish dates or a specific camp and see what dates they give xx

Do you reckon camps will go ahead this summer for international staff? I don't want to get my hopes up incase covid ruins it all I've applied and now i'm just waiting to get placed ://
I’m not sure to be completely honest as covid has obviously ruined a lot of things but all I can suggest is keep updated with camp America online 😊
I’ve applied and am waiting too! I rang camp America asking them and they said to me they’re fairly certain it will they’re just waiting on updates from the embassy for visa’s but once you test negative there should be a reason, she also explained it’s not a holiday it’s for work so the circumstances are different. Obviously can’t say for certain but just relaying what I heard because I’m worried and in the same position!
On your days off how would you get to these places? 😊
You would have a van that drives you or one of the people you work with will have a car you can get around in 😁
Hi was thinking of going next year to camp america was wondering what the partying/alcohol part with other people same age as me. Obviously this isn’t really a depending factor but was just wondering thanks! X
I guess it depends what camp you go to and how old you are, but personally I didn’t do any drinking as I was only 18 when I went but if you’re of age and it’s your day off there is chances you can go for some drinks and peoples houses for a few too. Just be cautious though as they have strict rules about it all. Hope this is of some help x

There isn’t really an average age but I would say between the age of 18-25 is the best time 😊

This was a good video for the most part but a little tip, you talked over your guest a lot. You kept asking her questions but didn’t give her the appropriate time to answer before you started talking. That made it a bit hard to focus on her answers
