    Hi, I’m trying to get web link to work on my new receiver but it won’t connect. It just says “head unit is not responding. Please check your connection and try again”. I have an iPhone 11 and my stereo is a pioneer DMH-1500NEX and in the operator manual it says that it’s web link compatible nothing is working? I’m sure my cable is fine too CarPlay works fine.

      1. Uninstall the WebLink Host app.
      2. Clear cache and cookies on your device.
      3. Factory reset your Head Unit.
      4. Reinstall the WebLink Host app.
      5. Accept all permissions.
      6. Test again.
      If the issue persists:
      7. Try a different USB cable, as the current one might be faulty.
      8. Use a different phone to see if the problem is device-specific.
      If none of these solutions work, please contact us at weblink_support@abaltatech.com for further assistance.

    Weblink doesn't work for me. Just stuck on the Pioneer caution screen with the warning to only use when parked. Greyed out "Okay" button.

      @@HelloWebLink Yes, downloaded the app, which connects, I however am just stuck at the Caution screen. USB cable works for all other uses, file transfer, Android Auto, etc.

    How do i turn off my phone screen while using weblink? I don't want my screen to drain battery, how do i make it just run like android auto?

    How come when I’m trying to watch TH-cam is says need to be in park but am already stationary.cheers

      Hi @amylidster7362. Thank you for your question! When you are parked and trying to watch TH-cam, can you tell me if your parking brake is engaged? Also, may I ask if you are trying to watch with an iPhone or an Android phone?

      @amylidster7362 I wanted to mention that you will be able to access all of WebLink’s features as long as you are parked and your parking brake is On. In the unlikely case that you are parked with your parking brake On and still observe the driver distraction warning - you need to contact the mechanic that installed your multimedia, as this is most likely an installation/mechanical issue.     My Samsung Galaxy A13 will not connect to web link when I put my USB cord on I do everything with the app but it will not show up on my stereo radio when I put it in the USB cord

      @HelloWebLink it was a USB cord I had to buy about 4 different ones but the one that worked is the one from the AT&T store you are correct you are the best thank you I gave you all five stars

    I'm using a Samsung S20+ with a Sony XAV-5500 headunit with Weblink. How can I use Waze on the headunit without seeing it on my phone?

      Hi @michaeldecheubel7317. Thank you for reaching out. If you are able to see Waze on your phone and the head unit, that is because Waze is being mirrored from your phone to the head unit. Just for clarification, are you able to see Waze on the head unit and phone, or you are only seeing Waze on your phone?

      I can see it on both. It is distracting and redundant seeing waze verticle on my phone in the holder and seeing it horizontal on my headunit.

      @@HelloWebLink Thanks for prompt reply. Would try doing that. Since last 3 years have very bad experience with web link host. Never ever worked properly. Some times it gives display error sometimes cable error some times cast error. Used 3 different mobiles. All same or other problems. Samsung android ones.

Am in india using Sony XAV 3500 as head unit and Samsung android F54 right now.. it's not able to cast right now... says now sometimes use certified cable...used three different cable same msg appears and sometimes it says unable to open weblink host....some times while casting it says can't open the application.... anywhere I can post the screen shots of present error.? Why you people don't make it wifi enable software instead of sticking to old technology of connecting via USB??

From a technical stand point, you should be able to access all of WebLink’s features as long as you are parked and your parking brake is on.     To download this app you have to give them TOTAL access to ALL AND I MEAN ALL YOUR FILES AND ALL YOUR INFORMATION, ALL. USER BE WEARE. THIS WAS YOUR WARNING. JUST READ THE NO OPTIONS PERMISSION YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM TOTAL ACCESS TO ALL YOUR PICTURES AND ALL INFORMATION ON YOUR PHONE.

The USB cable will need to be inserted into the correct USB port in your vehicle, but in order to know which port that is, please confirm with your vehicle's manual, or if you have an after market head unit, please check in your head unit's manual.     This is a third class app, interface is very poor, connection is slow & apps open on car instrument screen very slow.

    Привет из раши вы че там чем занимаетесь, у нас приложение пропало в РФ у обычных пользователей, мы работаем долгое время чтобы купить себе данные магнитолы а тут такое, парнягам воду перекрыли😂

      Hi @IrkAZBY! Due to the sanctions imposed by the US government on Russia and Belarus and the increased restrictions on the dissemination of U.S. software, Abalta has removed its WebLink host apps from the Google Play and Apple App store for Russia and Belarus.
      At this time, we do not know when the WebLink host app will be available again in your location. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
