Better yet, why doesn't she give credit to the late, great Michael Hedges for the tapping style? He's the only person I've ever heard do it before the great "August Rush" movie came out.
@@blakereed1654 - She only has to do what most other musicians do and tell the audience where the song is from before she plays it. Both Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie would tell interesting and funny stories about where they got the songs from they were covering.
fast forward a decade and her obsession with the tap style has compromised her playing to an extent that it's pushed her out of a sphere that she'd all but dominated and is technically capable of owning at any time. It's choppy, fragmented, not fully percussion and too jerky to relay a clean melody. idk. wish she'd get back to more of a fluid play
So ....tapping are you shitting me guess you never heard of eddie van halen so nothing new or strange ...her choice of passerelle for some songs is intriguing and bowen island is quite good but ppl there are so many good guitarists out there ....shes competent and thats ok but special groundbreaking no ...most of the techniques you see were already done long before she tried them ....in conclusion shes probably a cool person who plays ok ..now heres the kicker why isnt that enough ?
Never seen anyone play a guitar like this... it's awesome!
One of my top ten favorite guitarists of all time
that chemistry between the two lmao
What does she play at 3:00?
It sounds so different from Bone Chaos In the Castle...
Sounds like Emancipator-Dusk to dawn to me
It's a piece by Andrew York, don't remember the name

Why she doesn't play Ritual Dance live?
Jesús O she gets a lot of crap about it from michael hedges fans. Plus I think she feels like shes taking credit for the song.
